shes a nepobaby, but a softcore one. her father was a one hit wonder, way past his glorious days with little hollywood leverage. he put his foot on the door by giving her good management and insisting with disney, but she still had to audition to be HM and was turned down before producers changed their minds. Also, unlike other nepobabies, Miley out-famed him for a whole generation in basically her first year and built her own larger career later on. Can't say the same about the Gracies, Lilys and other nepogirls of this world

We all watched Miley work next to her father in one of the most well-known teen sitcoms of the century, I'm sure she is aware of the world's familiarity with her family tree. Considering that Billie is a 1992 has-been that needed Lil Nas X, out of all people, to touch a Grammy statue, she's doing more than fine without making her acceptance speech about him.

 

Your notion of what it means to have 'manners' is a bit funny here, though. Miley praised Billy Ray A LOT in the Used To Be Young interview, but he didn't acknowledge anything. He didn't even post about Miley's Grammy win yesterday (but posted other unrelated things, which shows he completely ignored her victory).

 

Very sad to see their family split into 2, but it's clear that Miley is the one handling the situation in a mature way. Billy Ray and Noah can stay mad
