I mean, it's because there was a lot of interesting people (including Taylor) and the show was great. Good performances, legendary presenters and the awards are mostly right awarded

Sos vs Midnights was a fight between two albums with incredible streaming numbers on AM and Spotify US. 

Albums gp actually listened for all the year. 

We can't Say the same about the two called "juggernauts" albums from last year.
