Speezy Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Quote She shares that listeners will “hear little bits and pieces” of different music genres that have “inspired [her] over the years,” including country, R&B and “a little bit” of her “gospel roots.” https://people.com/jordin-sparks-new-music-has-her-stepping-into-her-power-8557824 Seems like her New album is supposed to be similar to her debut in terms of sound which was mainly pop but had R&B, Country and the gospel hit "God Loves Ugly" She had a strong run in releases last year Edited February 5 by Speezy
Johnny Jacobs Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I hate it when they'll call it back to roots but it ends up not even close or a bad rehash. Hopefully it is this time.

livelikemusic Posted February 4 Posted February 4 2024: the year of the return to the O.G. days for music. '90s pop groups, Jordin Sparks returning to her debut album sound, etc. Loving this for us.

Psycho Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'll be tuning in if she serves another "One Step at a Time" or "S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)"
