The whole thing is tired and Shannen and Holly are rewriting history. Alyssa didn't get Shannen fired, the producers brought it in a mediator and H and S refused to collaborate, what did thet expect? lol And everybody just reported this stupid headline without fact-checking.

 

I get Shannen wanted to tell her side of the story, but Holly is really doing the most, going wherever the wind blows, throwing shade here and there

No honey. You see I knew the ego fueled rant you were on all along and you’ve also had multiple opportunities to identify precisely what “fabrication” I made when I looked very carefully at the source material before my first post.

 

What no right minded person is going to do is to blame the bald cancer lady on chemo who has kept her mouth shut for years and is only speaking through her friend (and former cast mate) to get things off her chest and speak her truth before her death bed and is so weak now that she can’t speak for herself. 
 

Luckily I have morals am prepared to back those who have no voice and you should be ashamed for backing the wrong side of history.

Eh I don’t fully agree. Shannon was painted very badly in the media and never discussed what really happened. She has a right to clear her name and put out her truth even if that’s 20 years later. Especially after experiencing near death experiences multiple times the last few years.

I get that it’s old drama but for her to say she’s sorry for the fans… like, it’s the fans that continue to ask and speculate about this because Shannen leaving was a huge upset for the show they loved and has always been surrounded by mystery and gossip.

 

I think they all had their issues, and they’ve each said as much, but Alyssa is someone that is good at playing the game and working the Hollywood system. That doesn’t make her an evil person, but I think she benefited from a system that enabled a lot of toxic behavior and undermined women, and that system is now is under more scrutiny post #MeToo

 

Shannen on the other hand, is someone that was often penalized by that system because of mistakes she made (and owned up to) on 90210, and was instructed for years to keep her mouth shut. So for Alyssa to act above it is really disingenuous to me. Like, she hasn’t moved on from it anymore than anyone else has, she simply doesn’t want it brought up because it exposes the system that has protected her all these years.

I heard the podcast, her statement in the insta post is just fine, but the replies to the fans were cringe. I don’t think it makes her look good to say she was blocked after reaching out when shannen announced her cancer

These women are all in their 50s and they're acting like this...  It's absolutely insane.

The fact that all three of them have problems with her says everything I need to know. Shannon and Rose were never on the show together and had similar experiences and both have issues with her to this day.

 

If this really was just a small beef from 25 years ago I don’t think it would really matter to any of them but the fact that they’re still talking about it indicates the animosity still remains.

The double standards from the Shannon-Holly truthers is asinine. When Shannen speaks, they behind the cloak of her diagnosis, when Alyssa, she’s evil, lying, fake, coy, and everything under the sun, short of the devil’s spawn. If you point this out, the simps will label you an Alyssa apologist because they can’t wrap their anything beyond a binary perspective. 
 

This compulsion fanbases have to pick a side  in a convoluted conflict that occurred years is the reason why there’s never going to be a resolution, now or a century later. Kim Cattral (the internet’s side) vs the other SATC ladies is an uncanny parallel case study.

I, for one, am glad she apologised to the fans cus this over-simmered feud has tainted the retrospection of the show for me as a fan. I keep up with all my fav shows, past and current. Charmed and SATC are the only subs i had to unfollow cus every other post is a thinly veiled attempt to circlejerk on the villain BTS, as decided by messy gays and bored housewives.
