She didn't really address anything, just skimmed over the issue without being specific but it would be very unlikely for her to admit in front of Charmed fans that she was the reason Shannen got fired.

The other two are still looking like clowns going on about the same things over and over again. Just go out and sort it out between you three? Jesus.

I'm sorry, but this just boring now. How many times does she need to apologise for something that happened decades ago? Holly has already said they were all to blame for it. Everyone needs to MOVE ON.

I’m currently watching Charmed for the first time and it’s so weird knowing there was so much beef BTS as they all had so much chemistry together on screen and felt like real sisters.

Exactly, they all had a part in the mess and this singling out is getting annoying. Several guests who worked on the show mentioned how all of them were hard to work with and the on set atmosphere was strange. They need to give it up and stop acting hollier than thou.

I'm now convinced more than ever that Holly was the actual troublemaker.

Way to go there (without really going there).  How about she addresses the part about threatening to sue the broadcaster if they didn’t fire Shannon, using the fact only Alyssa had been in mediation/ therapy to prove she wanted to solve the situation as a means to play the victim and get Shannon gone?

you're making it sound like alyssa was wrong for going to see the mediator that the studio provided. thats a totally reasonable thing to do in these type of situations. holly and shannen said they flat out refused to see him, so the fact that only alyssa had "proof" was on them.

But she did address it the best way she could've.

- called them out for bringing up something that happened 25 years ago

- repeated once again that she already apologised in the past

- feels sad for the fans and the show's legacy

- does not know how to fix the situation, wishes they could all be on the same stage

Was she supposed to bring up Holly being sick back in 1999 and that situation Shannen and Holly brought up? Or repeat once again that it felt like high school for her?

I want her to do a podcast aswell and dive into everything from her perspektive. This was not the right event/stage to go into detail.

The fact Alyssa knew up-front the leverage that going to see the mediator would give her and consciously weaponized the record of her having done so against her fellow cast-mates is a ratchet move and suggests her awareness of that is the only reason she ever attended.

The others should not be victimized for not being aware of how this could be used against them (until after the fact). It merely suggests they didn’t view a basic personality clash as being that serious.

Also, Shannon and Rose McGowan had zero to do with each other (their tenures on the show never crossed), yet they each (entirely independently of the other) have issues with Alyssa’s treatment of them during different eras of the shows production.

That says it all about Alyssa.

She is just filled with endless platitudes :mazen: She could’ve done without the “hurt people hurt people” and I’m above them because I’ve healed my traumas. Ew.

The fact that she said she’s sad for the fans doesn’t sit right with me.. she’s trying to appeal and appear like the saint to the fans and it’s so annoying. She should be sad that her past coworkers are still harboring negative feelings about her based on their past experience with her.

Reflect on that. Heal that. She is the poster child for lame neoliberal catchphrases and platitudes it’s so cringey :deadbanana:

Not true. Only 1 season 4 guest star said something like that.

Are you hearing yourself? They all had the opportunity to avail of the resources provided by their network to address their escalating issues but Alyssa knew upfront it was an opportunity for weaponisation. And you deduced this how? Even if it were true and she had ulterior motives. Did that motive include strong-arming the others into silence? Cus they did that all on their own.

I know villainising Alyssa is the majority take within the fandom but some of you just fill in the gaps with pure fabrications to fit your narrative. Just say you hate her cus everyone else does and leave it at that.

I've been rewatching the show and it's really impressive to me how I cannot tell there was trouble on set between the sisters in Season 3. Queens :clap3:

God, I cannot stand her vile.

Trying to act the victim.

Couldn't agree with the below more.

At this point, I think all 4 actresses need to keep any issues they have with each other to themselves. While Alyssa was definitely deflecting in these recent comments, I agree with her point about this happening so long ago yet the drama is still being openly discussed.

Why would Shannon and Holly (and Rose for that matter) all fabricate facets of their historical relationship with a former work colleague?

I never understood why Alyssa got so much flack in the first place when other sources have mentioned how toxic the work environment on the Charmed set was in general. Shannen herself is infamous for being hard to work with yet she's been elevated to sainthood in recent years for some reason.

Can they all just move on?

What is the point of discussing something that happened over 20 years ago?

What does it get you?

I said the meddling fans are doing the fabrication to fill in the gaps, not the actresses. They told their side of the story, it’s fine if people believe it. As far as I’m concerned, they can’t  be objective about the events of that time so I’m filtering their spiel through that lens. And I’d do same if Alyssa ever spilled the beans. I just find it eye roll inducing when stans pepper the funnelled details with their own pre-conceived notions to favour a certain narrative.

I see. So because three women (who don’t necessarily all know one another), each gave a consensus opinion about a former work colleague, they are somehow each telling a “fabrication” even though that former work colleague (in response) suggests that in retrospect she could have behaved better?

Okay.

.. Alternatively (and more likely) that apparent “fabrication” is YOU being a de-lulu Alyssa Milano stan who holds nostalgic memories of her screen persona in your memory from childhood ..

Well isn't it obvious? I remember Shannen announcing to the fans at a Comic Con panel that she'll put out a podcast in a few months, finally addressing her firing. She had to promote her podcast somehow.
