STARFUCKER Posted February 2 Posted February 2 What on earth goes through people's minds to commit crimes like this. Surely they know they're going to get locked up and lose every freedom they have and all for what?

visions Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Hope they rot in prison. UK politicians and those (Rowling etc.) who help spread anti trans rhetoric in this country have blood on their hands. The Prime Minister offered his “thoughts for the family” bs whilst he spouts bigoted right wing talking points of “man is man, woman is woman” type ****. Scum. RIP Brianna. 7

It’s like what were the odds of Fred and Rose finding eachother is baffling but these guys are practically children, how do you start that conversation? Did they actually want to do it or did they just egg eachother on too afraid to back out? Like this is mad. I’ve been having to work in Warrington on occasion recently and the people in the area are either really friendly or quite vulnerable, there doesn’t seem to be an in between.

I get what you’re saying but can we please stop banging on about Rowling, and start naming names that might have some impact on the discussion in this country. Kemi Bademoch, former minister of equality, who deliberately derailed the conservatives last decent chance by conflating Mordaunts stance on trans rights, said just this last week that Trans ideology has no place in schools. How on earth does a woman who harbours feelings like that become the equality minister? and how on earth does anyone feel safe with her speaking on their behalf? We can JKR this and JKR that, but let’s start making those capable of changing legislation accountable instead.

JKR is just another idiot who got warped by twitter; she just happens to also be extremely rich and connected. Yes, she has influence and YES we need to call that out. But putting all the focus on her and acting like she's the figurehead for the anti-trans movement actually helps these idiots because it gives them ammo to say to the general public "see how they've tried to cancel the woman who wrote Harry Potter???" They walk around with I <3 JK ROWLING signs for f*ck's sake. She's being used as an entry point for recruitment by these TERFs. The focus needs to be on the people actually creating policy, actually speaking for the government and country. 1
