Wtf why wouldn't he be? He just dropped an album not too long ago and is currently on tour. What a weird comment to make

It wasn't an EP it was an album. Also what's his deal? Why hasn't he dropped his collab with Ricky who he currently is on tour with or Shakira ?

Well the former doesn't exist and likely never will. The latter had a credible source saying it might happen but if it does exist I suspect it's in the vaults never to see the light of day like his collabs with TLC, Britney Spears, Lil Jon, Juicy-J, Juan Gabriel, Don Omar and Pablo Alboran.

Wait which one you mean doesn't exist? He's played a snippet of the Enrique and Ricky one at a few of their concerts according to fans. What eras did he have collaborations with Britney Spears and Pablo Alboran?

It's the first I've heard of a snippet of a duet being played at their shows. If it's true it doesn't seem to have made the cut of Final Vol. 2 since we have the track list and a list of collaborators and it's not on there. Maybe it's a surprise or being saved for an upcoming Ricky album but my feeling is if one really exists it will remain in the vaults.

I've said before that ever since signing with them Enrique has only been allowed to collaborate with artists that are also signed with Sony usually ones that require a boost in the Latin market. Yeah Labels usually prefer their acts collaborate with each other rather than help a competitor but with Enrique and now Ricky they seem completely against it and that includes indie artists which is what Enrique will be once his contract with Sony is up. It's very likely why Enrique isn't collabing with Pitbull this time and why I can't see him appearing on a Ricky or Shakira release in the near future.

An Enrique/Britney duet has been pitched on and off for years. I believe some demos existed for something to be released during their tour that never happened. The Pablo Alboran duet was apparently done sometime before the pandemic but since Pablo isn't with Sony I'm not surprised it's not turned up on any of their albums.

This is the enrique's last album under sony music...maybe he's going to release those hot duets for after that...

When Enrique finishes his contract with Sony he'll set up his own label to music at his leisure, he will essentially be an indie artist. The problem still remains that Sony don't want their Latin artists collaborating with artists on other labels, that seemingly includes indie ones.

Personally I think it would make a lot of sense for Enrique to feature on Ricky Martin and Shakira's upcoming albums. You'd get the benefit of his name and star power which has admittedly slipped in the last few years but still counts for a lot particularly globally and as an independent artist they would hardly be boosting up a competitor but I just don't think Sony see it that way.

I didn't know were to post this as there is no dedicated thread for Final Vol. 2 but it's been confirmed that the track Como Yo is produced by Redone. I believe it's the first time he's produced a Spanish language song. Admittedly I'm curious how it will sound but I can't help but think how confusing this album is shaping up to be. We have a Redone production but on a Spanish track, we have a Metro production but it's a country collaboration, the duet with Belinda is a ballad and not a pop song like you'd expect. It's like they are giving everything Enrique fans want just not in the way they wanted.

It's cute. Youtuel on the song kinda make it sound like a dancier version of La Mordidita by Ricky Martin to me.

He's been constantly wearing a cap for over a decade now. He hair has been receding for the past 20+ years. I wonder why he just doesn't get hair transplants like other men do.

Fernan put the fear in him at a young age that having a receding hair line would be a deal breaker for fans. It was never so bad that for high profile appearances he couldn't style his hair to cover it and for other things he would wear a hat. I imagine over time he just got used to it and became a hat guy.

It's difficult to know what his hair is like now but this video of a fan knocking off his cap is from 2018 and it looks like he has a pretty full head of hair. It's probably not with worth getting a transplant.

Transplants are cheap and look good nowadays. He's just receding in the front. Maybe he just doesn't care personally and does it just for professional reasons. Covering up his balding issues, fixing his skin and removing the mole really did wonders for his looks.

I thought they'd be moving on to La Botella by now since that song seems to be pretty popular but it seems Sony and/or Enrique's people think there is steam left in Fria given they have dropped a remix for it with Yng Lvcas.
