looks absolutely insane. somehow feel like i know less about what the story could be after watching this trailer than the reveal? was cool to see some of the potential gameplay content though.

i'll absolutely be playing day one. and whoever touched lou is going to regret it.

Does Kojima even have a game where you can actually play instead of watching unskippable cutscenes? His games all look and feel the same :rip:

Is the first game worth playing? Whenever I’ve seen gameplay of it, I can never work out what type of game it’s supposed to be. :rip:

Yes, but it might not be for everyone. It's very heavily narrative driven and at its core you travel around carefully delivering packages across post apocalyptic world. But the environmental changes, obstacles, enemies, various phenomena happening can keep you pretty paranoid about it. The game is great at sustaining tension so it's not a go-to relaxing gameplay experience. But it's definitely worth going through if you enjoy the story

Why??? I couldn't even finish the first game coz it was so boring, repetitive and heavy on my brain  The only good thing was outstanding graphic and OST, that's it :giraffe:

From your description, it could definitely be up my alley. I am a massive fan of Alan Wake and although it has action in it, it’s rather slow at times and it’s heavily story driven and constantly tense, but I love it for those reasons. I’ll have to pick myself up a copy sometime.

The mental complexity showed in the first one is amazing and still today I find it difficult to totally catch and understand. This is why I love Kojima Productions: you'll never know what happens and what will happen. The power of the artistry is excellent and the best thing I want to underline is that the more you're "alone" and particular-peculiar in your business, the more you affascinate your GP. I'm ready!

I totally agree, it's a shame games like this are so misunderstood because of that. Other forms of media like movies or books are widely accepted to serve purposes different than pure entertainment, it's time for people to realize games can be that as well. They can be a form of art crafted to provoke you, evoke some emotions, thoughts, not just relax with a casual gameplay.

First one was cool as a story, but f***** tragic as a game. It should have been a movie

No. The cutscenes are cool, but the gameplay - you only walk from place to place (in boring, empty scenery) for hours :rip:
