Since its release, it has always done well on Spotify, but in the last few weeks it has reached well over 2 million streams a day.

All I can think of is that it’s the 10th anniversary of its release.

 

Riptide and Milky Chance’s Stolen Dance should have been bigger hits in 2014.

Because pop folk music is smashing again. Noah Kahan with stick season album also made me feel very nostalgic and go back and to listen riptide :giraffe:

Americans love to envision themselves living in a cozy cabin and listening to folk songs in the midst of the Appalachian wilderness as they type away on their iPhone 15 while sipping from their lead-poisoned but trendy Stanley cup and wondering which suburban apartment they should rent $2000 a month for next
