JoJo Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I loved Dark Places the movie adaptation was bad, so I’m glad that they’re giving the book a second chance.
Gui Blackout Posted January 30 Posted January 30 It's her best book tbh Glad everyone forgot about that awful movie
Miles. Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Awesome, Sharp Objects was great and I'm sure they'll do justice to this one too!
Aaron Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I just finished reading this for the first time a couple months ago and I loved it. Can’t wait!

I would still recommend it because her writing is spectacular, it’s very disturbing, and it keeps you entertained with a very dynamic plot. Her best book is still Gone Girl (which is a modern literary masterpiece). 1 1
fridayteenage Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Cool that it'll get a second shot But I'm kinda annoyed that all this TV work and money has led Gillian to publish zero novels in 10 years 1
Blue Monday Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I did really enjoy the book; the movie was such a non-event despite a really stacked cast and Gone Girl hype
Universo Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Sharp Objects is like one of my favorite shows ever (RIP Jean-Marc Vallée) so i'm excited
Uncatena Posted January 30 Posted January 30 her script for gone girl was perfect, i’m excited that she is writing this. i wonder who is going to star.
ultraviolence.xx Posted January 31 Posted January 31 this book deserved so much better than that movie so YES Spoiler but also finish the damn novel challenge it's been 84 years
PoisonPill Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I’ve read all her books, Gone girl and Sharp objects are amazing but I found this one pretty bad tbh.
frankvert Posted January 31 Posted January 31 How old is the main character? Asking out of curiosity if this could potentially be Gaga’s Emmy vehicle
Weld_E Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Her weakest out of the 3 IMO, but would make for an entertaining show. When is her next book coming out though?? That’s what we really want.
