nostalgic Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 It's giving Zodiac crossed with Friday the 13th
Mads Trier Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 A killer's POV was done before really well in the movie Maniac starring Elijah Wood
ainadalkaz Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 neeeeeed to see this so bad but I'm gonna have to wait until it hits digital I doubt they'll be showing it here
jrd30121994 Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 Out now on VOD!! This is THE horror girl of the year
genetic fail Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 The final act was such a letdown... Terrible terrible pacing... Great gore though...
Have A Break Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 :/ was looking forward to this, but what was that? Spoiler The kills were nicely done, a fest for gorehouds... beautiful nature shots, beauitful gowns... but what was that acting? And the pacing was off at too many moments (those awkward pauses before attacks or kills, like the "main", I guess, sniffing (?) the blood on the ground for a good minute or the yoga chick just waiting to being turned into a pretzel). And did we really need that overly drawn-out Mike-Flanagan-esque monologue at the end? It was such a good premise and format and idea, but what a wasted opportunity to make something grand and unique.

Kevin2803 Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 I'm halfway through and idk, i don't get the hype. Spoiler It was supposed to be the POV of the killer, but they just change it when it's more convenient. And it doesn't make sense that we can hear to dialogues so clearly, when the killer is so far away. The one kill was cool, but it's also so obviously fake. You can clearly see that it's a doll. 3
EnigmaticAndroid Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Saw this in theaters a few weeks ago. The idea is fantastic but the execution is super uneven and bends the concept whenever it would make things easier for the film. And the fact that they shoved in so many horror tropes when the entire point of the film felt like it was the subversion of them was pretty puzzling imo. Still, an interesting watch.

Spicy_TyTy Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Watched it last weekend. Definitely a bit more artsy than most horror films, I get the vision here but felt a bit underwhelmed
Gossip_Boy Posted July 27, 2024 Author Posted July 27, 2024 I'm a bit surprised they're making a franchise out of this as it seemed more like a one off experiment. I don't know how a second film will work unless they apply it to a widely different scenario but even though the ending was a bit dodgy, the viewpoint throughout and the dreadful atmosphere was really immersive to me, so sign me up regardless. 1
QueenBLadyG Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 At least they can fix all the problems with a sequel. It had much promise but the issues it had kept me from being fully immersed. 2
X~MoviePoP Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Amazing indie. Does anyone know how much it cost to make
