Eteri is the one to blame here, but truly figure skating has been so much more enjoyable to watch without the Russians, the toxicity from that camp just infected every competition, and the ones being the most hurt are teenage girls being used by Eteri's camp. What are you talking about? But following that logic the IOC and FIFA should ban some other countries. You can probably name which ones. The positive test wasn't from the Olympics but rather the Russian national championships in December 2021. Doping tests usually take a maximum of 20 days but the laboratory was also doing covid testing at the time so everything was delayed and the results didn't come in until the Olympics were already in full swing. Had this happened in any other, non-pandemic year the positive result would've come in much earlier and she would've never even made it to the Olympics.
