Mordecai Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Couldn't stand Elsbeth as a character on TGW but personal feelings aside, I don't see this working. Elsbeth is the kind of character that only works in small doses 4

ctlp27 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I actually disagree. On Network or free cable, it has been proven that odd-lead-character in procedural are what - old - audiences like to watch: Monk, House MD, Good Doctor, etc. I like that they go back to CBS for something less risky than the Good fight, where after a strong start, the show went to political satire goofy compared to the tone of the OG (and one of the best of the genre) show. Hope to get lots of seasoned broadway actors and some cameos from both shows, even with the "official" city change.
AaronBryceSufjan Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I hope they develop another drama series for Diane Lockhart actually... just wanna see how she would run the all-female law firm

I would've loved the spinoff to have been about a young Diane making her way up the ranks all the way to partner, especially since she came up in a time where female lawyers were nowhere near as common

Matthew Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The pilot was fantastic. Stupid that the second episode won’t air until April 4. Scored good ratings too.
Into The Void Posted March 9 Posted March 9 never saw Good Wife but saw the premiere and I like her character.
WEEKND Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Loving this show. its predictable but I dont mind I have a feeling that Spoiler miss NYC is going to be arrested at some point and will have a few ex criminal allies lol.
Exodus Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) Very enjoyable. Very CBS. Much lighter in tone than Good Wife and Good Fight. I can't wait for some old character crossover (loved the Cary Agos references already). However, I am sad So Help Me Todd was cancelled for this. Edited May 3 by Exodus
Jglj Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I'm liking it, but it's no Good Wife or Good Fight. Also found it interest they seemed to dial the camp for this series a bit, I'm not mad about it though.
