We're living through really dark times right now - post pandemic, on the brink of WWIII, one of the worst economic and housing crises we've seen in our lifetimes yet... people can't afford sh*t, and those that can are becoming increasingly cautious about flaunting their wealth or attending massive outdoor events in America. I think it's a combination of both. The current problems made people spend their money more wisely, hence why Taylor and Beyoncé (who are actually worth seeing) can still sell out stadiums. ATRL Moderator MissedTheTrain Posted January 25 ATRL Moderator Posted January 25 Lana has a big fanbase for sure, but the overall lineup isn't nearly as stacked as previous years.
memo90061 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Gwen will think it's the "No Doubt" curse and say not another Push and Shove :( She will never want to go back with them. :( 2

Ms. Togekiss Posted January 25 Posted January 25 The headliners are not it and i mean, Peso Pluma? People who listen to that man are truly sick and lack taste 2

est. in 90s Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) I know Shakira is somewhere cackling. No one cares about Coachella in 2024 (let's be real, the event peaked after Beychella) and sorry but the headliners get more and more underwhelming as the years pass. I hear no one talking about this event this year other than panning the headliners Coachella chose as the worst Edited January 25 by est. in 90s 1
Kimi Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Tyler and Doja are good performers but are not established enough for headlining. Lana is established but can’t sing very well and has weak stage presence. It will be interesting to see. Coachella is definitely flopping and it truly started with Frank Ocean. Only Taylor could save them now, but only for one year.
Luckitty Posted January 25 Posted January 25 People who have insomnia should buy tickets to the lana weekend party all day and then sleep at 11:30
eleganceislearned Posted January 25 Posted January 25 If they took one of them (likely Tyler) out and replaced them with someone contemporary and bigger like Taylor or Rihanna, or someone legendary and huge like The Rolling Stones or Fleetwood Mac, then the lineup would look so much better.
BabyBenzz Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Ha, that's what they get for not wanting to pay up for Shakira. Shakira could have saved this entire lame ass line up, none of them are strong enough to headline.

Agree, no shade but Tyler is soooo accessible. He's always at every festival. I think Lana and Doja are fine choices, but day 2 def needed more power.
