NostalgiawithDua Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I remember she mentioned last year about title giving away her next album genre and aesthetics. I fear it’d similar to Future Nostalgia….

CottageHore Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Training Season now sounds like a bad album title but if you imagine the album being a very perfect pop record, in 30 years Training Season will be an iconic gay pop classic title 2

Grammys should have kicked it off and dropped Houdini around it, Training Season after and album (titled Vertigo) released around her COACHELLA headlining set (what possibly conflicted with this gig for her to turn it down..?) I really think they had contractual obligation with Puma to use heir products in a video before Christmas, and since Training Season video was postponed they did last minute Houdini video to fulfill those obligations. 1 1
Crank_It_Up Posted February 9 Posted February 9 This was…yet another pointless interview. I wish she performed. Here’s to hoping every upcoming promo slot will be performances going forward. 1

The should use this photo for it, like that fans would need to buy cassette, CD and vinyl to have whole collection

Training Season sounds like such a downgrade
mike_int Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I would love CHAOS THEORY I like the name "Training Season" but for single, not for album ... unless it will have some very heavy camp sexy sweaty visuals. Also to call album "Training Season" and not announce it the same day as the single is weird, cause the name is already "taken" haha
Solaria Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I’m really starting to think the album isn’t coming till May. If it was a March/April release she would have revealed the album title by now.
Asherio Posted February 9 Posted February 9 She is not revealing the album name before TS. It would steal the spotlight from it. Im guessing it’s coming with or right after the release of TS.
Waydark Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I think 15/03 or one week after TS for the album title and pre orders.
ahauntingnearu Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Album gonna be undesirably far from now lol What is with these useless promo appearances? What is going on 3

Kenji Posted February 9 Posted February 9 vertigo is such a b-list title, maybe if she was ava max it would kinda slay but dua is way above that chaos theory is by far the most interesting imo and the one with the strongest case going for it. team dua hq as well as dua herself teased it far too strongly for it to be completely meaningless. lucky stars as well - i'm not the biggest fan of it as a title but it's definitely seems significant as a title though, chaos theory encapsulates everything she's been talking about - “sign up for chaos, happiness, passion, love, joy, optimism, energy, fun", and how the album has a lyrical theme: “In terms of the themes, I’ve matured. It’s like I’m coming into my power and not afraid to talk about things. It’s about understanding what I want.” “This record feels a bit more raw. I want to capture the essence of youth and freedom and having fun and just letting things happen, whether it’s good or bad. You can’t change it. You just have to roll with the punches of whatever’s happening in your life.” - in other words, embracing chaos and unpredictability chaos theory definition: "the branch of mathematics that deals with complex systems whose behaviour is highly sensitive to slight changes in conditions, so that small alterations can give rise to strikingly great consequences." unpredictability has been a big thing this era, from the original houdini teasers, the deleting and reposting, etc, the rollout has been chaotic and unpredictable thus far by design (and maybe incompetence lmao ) but trust the process 4 1
DoubleRainbow! Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I would’ve happy with either Chaos Theory or Vertigo
