illia Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Why are some people surprised that the MV is tanking like… have you seen it? added the extended version to my playlist today
BlueBlue Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) This song just came out and I feel like it's been there for a month. She waited a litte too long to drop this. But this song is good of course Edited February 17 by BlueBlue
Lovett Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I love this so much. I feel like a bad b*tch strutting down the street to this. 3
chris1991 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 While I like Training Season & Houdini quite a lot! Idk, I don’t think Parker is producing anything innovative for Dua, sounds very, I hate to use the word generic because I very much like the tracks, but he’s doing the minimum imo. I never that he was that great outside of Tame Impala. Also I hope she films another video for this like…

She needs to evolve her sound in some way or people will get bored of the same types of songs.

The album is not coming soon though. I expect May-June with the 3rd single best case scenario
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted February 18 Posted February 18 This deserves a year-long TTH residency, her team better does not treat it like Godini. 1

I don't think he's necessarily doing the minimum, he's just trying to meet her halfway. His task is to incorporate his melancholy, psychedelic alt-pop into Dua's mainstream, commercial music so that the songs still sound like hits, but also left field. The result has kind of turned out to hit the middle on both of those scales, but maybe there will be more adventurous stuff on the album.

Also I hope she films another video for this like… It kinda feels like an exact mix of Top 40 EDM and Tame Impala music so I wouldn’t say generic. The concept is great but that said the production on this definitely could have been spiced up just slightly Edited February 18 by Dephira
NostalgiawithDua Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Why did they abandon South Asia promo, Philippines is probably one of the biggest music markets, DSN first went viral in that country and went #1 but she refuses to promote or tour there, all this makes that warner’s executive statement look stupid…..
