I rather have good song with longevity than song which will be artificially pushed to no.1 on first week and then decline to oblivion.
xicnx Posted February 17 Posted February 17 It's an amazing number in the UK and US considering it's a second single. We kind of need it to be stable this time Houdini had a better first-day number but didn't stabilize well

RadioactiveLights Posted February 17 Posted February 17 If this era means lower US/UK peaks but stable global presence...I'm all for it. I just want her career to last for a long time. She deserves it: great music, great work ethic, and she's someone to root for. 4 2
touch Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) Did Danny L Harle write in this? Because in the vinyl his name do not appear as a co-writter, but in Apple Music is. How does that work? Edited February 17 by touch
monologueNacafe Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Just want to say that this song is excellent and the US is serving lack of taste if this is indeed underperforming. The extended >
My20sBlues Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Fabulous numbers for Training Season! Another thing that surprises me is that TEXAS HOLD'EM is smashing

This Dua has showed us many times that her thing is all about longevity we just have to wait patiently

Yeah well we care cause we are also here to discuss the success of a song You have 5 options 1. A complete flop 2. Starts with big numbers and falls into oblivion 3. Flots with mid numbers 4. Starts slow and rises organically 5. Smashes right from the start Houdini was 3 , lets see TS 15 minutes ago, xicnx said: It's an amazing number in the UK and US considering it's a second single. Now its just a NEW SINGLE 1 1

Human Fly Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Her production this era 🔥 Kevin Parker truly shining with his signature production. Aquarious / Leo combo is top notch. 2

There is an attitude to this era and a character. It will be for sure less successful than FN but much better direction for her legacy. She can always pull a born this way smash 10 years later with album tracks ihihihi 1 1
skankle Posted February 17 Posted February 17 This is kinda boring, like a mid Carly album track... I prefer Hasbeeni tbh and that was a low bar! It's not looking good for the Blow Your Mind (Mwah) songstress. 1 2 2 6
State of Grace. Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I really don't understand the decision of not sending it to radio in the US though. I'm all here for them continuing to push Smashini but both songs can co-exist on radio and it wouldn't be the first time she has 2 songs being pushed on Pop? Houdini is #6 on Pop and rising but it will barely reach the Top 5, I don't see it going higher tbh. 1
