mercurialworld Posted February 16 Posted February 16 This was like, fine! And the guys in the video were shmexy!
State of Grace. Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I am SO obsessed with this. It's been stuck in my head ever since last night and I spent the entire day streaming it and the extended mix. The acapella also slaps so hard, I'm not seeing enough praise for Dua's vocal performance and delivery this era 2
MatiRod Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) This is sooo catchy A hit for sure, although I'm not sure it will be a US smash, the charts seem to be entering an aggressively heterosexual era of folk and hip hop Edited February 16 by MatiRod 2

If U Seek Amy Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Love the song. The video is absolutely awful and pointless. I am glad I love her for her music and not her videography

Maybe she’s afraid of burn out and wants to pace herself - fair enough, it’s rightfully her call, her life, she should live it as she sees fit and good luck to her. But in terms of promotion, we’re three months plus into an era, she’s been on Myers ( twice in a sense), Fallon, Kimmel, and soon to be Norton. No performances. True, the Brits are only two weeks later and maybe she’s promising them an exclusive. Nevertheless, we've had one sole performance so far, at the Grammys of course, and she hit it out of the park and into orbit. Brilliant, stellar, fabulous etc etc, which just makes it all the more frustrating. She is sooo good, and entertaining but we are being seriously rationed. Maybe they want to encourage folk to buy tickets to live shows??? To add to this has TS even been served to US radio?? 3
Miss Harajuku Posted February 16 Posted February 16 her refusal to perform this era is jarring 16 minutes ago, Cain said: What? Her dad dropping the ball on literally everything hate this era

It makes no sense to talk about burnout cause she had no signs of burnout during the FN rollout. I think she or her dad have grandeur delusions and that’s why she’s had 8 opportunities to perform the song by now but only gave us boring repetitive interviews. Which none of that is true cause her most viral performance is her Tiny Desk where she is just standing still, the Jimmy Fallon DSN performance is one of her best ones, and ‘smaller’ performances go viral all the time It’s not like she can’t use the promo, the songs aren’t exactly gigantic smashes this era
itsjokesta Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Even though the music video wasn't what I was expecting it has definitely grown on me for sure. It has really pretty visuals but this song is so good. It's been on rotation all day.
MasterExpose Posted February 16 Posted February 16 The people saying you heard the whole song after the first verse probably forgot about New Rules already. TS follows the same pattern as NR (and almost every Dua's debut songs)
Cheers Posted February 16 Posted February 16 This has been in my head ALL day. My God! What a fantastic, fun, song! I'm so excited for the album. 3
