ANG3L Posted February 16 Posted February 16 the random 0:39 volume thing is stressing me out sounds like a glitch 1

They might not be BIG pop videos like Physical, Break My Heart, or Levitating were but I am liking the vibe so far. Can't wait for the album photoshoot and more serves live. This! I actually like the video. Every video does not have to be flashy. This is no longer FN era. Let’s move on please.
SeeingStars1515 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 This is a step up from Houdini, but otherwise, I'm not sure this is all that amazing either. It doesn't really go anywhere? It does remind me of DL1 which I like alot but I still feel like shes hard to grasp as an artist lol
enchanted0 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 0:39 is just the synth being sidechained no glitch whatsoever 1
LanaXtinaFan Posted February 16 Posted February 16 She could have had a MOMENT with this video. Spread the word. But the video will gather zero hype at all. No viral moments, nothing. Hard to believe this is the same girl that gave us Future Nostalgia. She was HUNGRY. 1
DoubleRainbow! Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Song’s SOTY but the video makes the song a 9 anyway, big budget videos era is over what were y’all expecting? 1

It’s not about being flashy, the first 3 minutes is literally just her staring at dudes and dudes staring back at her. You can shoot a compelling video on an iPhone for 0 dollars if you use a little bit of creativity. I get that they had to reshoot the video but they could’ve easily put a bit more effort into it and executed this concept much better. 3
SharGaga Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Will be listening to the extended version from now on. Kinda sad the psychedelic elements from Kevin are more present in the live performances. This one feels more polished pop in the vein of Break My Heart. Would love to hear that touch of Tame Impala more in the music. She could have leaned more into it since it seems the music isn't gonna perform as good as FN anyway. But it's a BOP for sure even if some parts feels a bit empty. Edited February 16 by SharGaga 1

I hear it. It's not even on beat. I've heard this in another song, but I can't remember which one. It's always annoyed me. Edit: I just remembered, it's Million Reasons by Gaga. The volume randomly gets boosted during the word "down" in "I bow down to pray" Edited February 16 by PoisonCandy 1
Relampago. Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Houdini and Training Season are better than most of FN, with the exception of Levitating. Love Again and Physical are about as good. It’s kind of crazy how she’s topping the best pop album of the decade for me so far

Jukebox Posted February 16 Posted February 16 This is actually way way better than I thought it was going to be after the snippets. It’s actually a good bop. 1
DoubleRainbow! Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Already #1 on ITunes Mexico her Latin power is back
Descending Posted February 16 Posted February 16 ADDICTED TO TS!!!! I tought I would hate it but I love it! I'm really loving this era <3
lip Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Music videos are already a budget eater for labels, and given that they already scrapped a high budget mv for this song, I was never expecting a big one here... No one is trying to make a good music video these days so the fact that this is the main concern for most people with Dua shows everyone her place in pop... she's the it girl 1 2

PaloSanto Posted February 16 Posted February 16 a bop, once again the second single is better than the lead
torontowest91 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Love the song but I feel like I loved the snippet part more than the entire song.
SayIt Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Remember to stream both Training Season and Houdini so they can smash together. #1 and #2 on the Hot100 respectively next week. Let’s go 2
