William Orbit wants to make another album with Madonna

She is due for one proper massive album before retirement and pensions kick in.  I hope the next one is it and the new Gen latches on to it.

After he ripped her to shreds online repeatedly in 2012, blaming her for the album’s floppage, saying it would have done well had she actually been in the studio and not leaving everything to them? :bibliahh:

Ray of Light worked because of people like Patrick Leonard and Rick Nowels.

Madonna needs to turn the page on people like Orbit and Mirwais.

Her trying to be hip is why her music sucks now. She needs classics, hits that aren’t disposable like the majority of music now. Enough trend hopping.

Commercial success is long gone. She should focus on creating something of quality, whoever the producers are.

I doubt she has it in her to go full on left field to a Ray Of Light type level although no one thought she'd do something like Madame X. She's too out of touch and self conscious about being a hitmaker nowadays, she needs to let that **** go, then maybe it could happen.

Is that why Madame X had Maluma on a 5 minute track as the first single? (he never had a single hit on english markets lmao)...she also released songs like Dark Ballet as promo songs and used it for a music video, alongside songs like Batuka and God Control which sound NOTHING like surefire hits.

Have y'all actually heard Madame X? :rip:

If she wanted to have a hit she would hire Ariana or The Weeknd for her first single...not Maluma, lmao.

Then where were they in songs like Swim, Drowned World, Mer Girl and the title track?

Orbit isn't even an actual writer and he's the only co-writer in songs like Swim or Mer Girl...meaning Madonna was clearly the main mastermind behind those lyrics. He never wrote anything on that level on his other work where Madonna wasn't involved.

Please stop trying to make this album all about the producers and writers when it's clear she was all over it as well.

Falling Free is a beautiful song and the best her voice has sounded in years. Madonna said it is her favorite song on the MDN/A album

Love Spent & Masterpiece were nice too

The thing is he started working with her during MDNA but she also called Martin Solveig after hearing that Hello song and he edited a lot of the tracks that also Orbit has made. He was rightfully mad :)

I was talking about nowadays with the throaway remixes she did for hung up and frozen and ****. not madame x as an album.

I’m not crazy about the idea of her working with past collaborators (except Pat Leonard).

Some of y’all never heard Williams work with All Saints and it shows :rip: they were an outstanding duo and while she deserves a lot of credit, because she is immensely talented as a musician in the overall sense, so is he.

He is a master producer who, given time and guidance, can create wonderful work. I’m totally up here for them to do something new together

Maybe they can recapture the magic they once created.
