kali uchis - fue mejor: **** kali but this song is so heavenly. what a great track (and I love SZA’s part even if it doesn’t make sense.)

 

Beyoncé - check it out: yes in every way possible

 

ariana grande - never liked this song. really bland pop on an album that was distinctly not that.

 

 

doja cat - juicy: it’s good.

 

mariah carey - fly like a bird: such a gorgeous song, one of her best. need her to perform this live on tiny desk!

 

janet jackson - funny how time flies: she ate this up (and so did Tinashe on How Many Times )

 

lorde - perfect places: you should’ve sent world alone.

 

beyonce - summer renaissance: still mixed on this song. feels so similar to I Feel Good to the extent to where I’d rather just listen to I Feel Good. Especially listening to this outside the context of the album, kind of a drag.
