its predicted to depart the top 15 in its second week on the bb hot 100 and its almost out of the top 100 on global spotify already. this song never had real support. ppl just wanted to tune into nicki drama.

Not strange at all that a rap track based on bars and lyrics does not appeal in non-anglophone countries.

People were just curious, that's called a momentum. It's still top 15 in the US.

Okay so it’s finally stabilised! Let’s celebrate that

You’re a Nicki stan talking about free falling please bffr. As if Big Foot will even chart for a second week. :rip:

Nicki has never seen top 10 with a pure hiphop song, let alone a song with hook. Hiss has done what it’s needed to do and it’s broken several records solo. It’s not Megan’s fault they chose Hiss over Big Flop

Are we gonna pretend Chun Li doesn't exist? :deadbanana:

The song would have flopped without Nicki's name attached to the beef + the Nicki haters (other fanbases) coming together to mass buy the song :ahh:

I mean does it exist past 2018 shdjfjfj.

So that’s one song for a career that’s spanned over a decade. Cute

I don't know what argument you're trying to make. DWHAP went #2, PD went #4 - all recent. Not Nicki's fault they have a hook :deadbanana2:

To be honest, Nicki promoted the song better than Megan ever could. If Nicki wouldn't have attached her name to the song, then...

Like people keep saying, Drake, Tory, and Pardi got the most shots in the song, and they all stayed quiet, Nicki ranted for literally a whole weekend.

girl get out this thread... we don't care anything bout what miss cocaine bear has done or is doing. overall, most of her music sucks; she relies on gimmicks and mass buying to actually feel good about herself. nickis the one dumb enough to promote a song thats NOT hers for a full week; instead of promoting her flop of an album... that WONT have any lasting impact. help her find funds to produce music videos, and ACTUALLY earn money from her "debt-collector" tour. she hasn't seen a pure rap SOLO song go top ten in forever; "super freaky girl" was sampled heavily, and was completely viral before its release... "HISS" was announced the same week of release... has no hook... isn't meant to be mainstream... and is the #1 song in the US right now. get over it. your fave ain't doing what she should she be doing. the "queen" has fallen. the music is mediocre and anyone that stills supports her is embarrassing on ALL fronts.

All of Megan’s #1’s have been a huge moment and the coke fiend can’t relate. :michael:

You know what? Yall kinda just sound dumb and ignoramus arguing on ATRL of all places as to what a "pure" hip-hop song is. Since when are you a hip-hop aficionado? :bibliahh:

A song doesn't have to include a trap beat, no sample, and no hook to be a hip hop song. Were Run-DMC popstars? Eve? Was Eminem a pop star? Is Ludacris? Jay Z? All hip-hop artists who have top 10's and #1's that include hooks, even bridges and choruses! Imagine that. Did you know there are different styles of hip-hop? Like what is this "pure hip-hop" argument? Something yall saw on Twitter?

Yes SFG is a hip-hop song. Hiss is a hip-hop song. Big Foot is a hip-hop song. Stan **** aside that's just a stupid argument, come with something else and take a history class on hip-hop and black history please.

Yeah, I wanna see if these ppl are gonna tune into her album but these pop stans are so fickle. People who aren't normally into hip hop def tuned in because its a "fight"..much like real life just like that tik toker who talked about this randomly according to his engagement and then deleted his video because he had no idea what he was getting himself into. A situation a normal hip hop stan would anticipate without question but the situation is headline'd so free promo for me!

"You only got a #1 becuz you dissed me" is something she said already too :rip: This not propelling Cobra any higher is what should be talked about because that would tell you if the GP really ****** with her catalogue. It just re-entered top 50 on US radio ..at #50 a few days ago. Not good for someone who has a current number 1.

Roc nation VS Nicki seems imminent at this point if not already an obvious face-off between the two. So that'll be interesting at least. A perceived anti-nicki song should have more shelf life IMO than this but we'll see when the album drops.

Girl bye. Not everyone is a white gay, SFG ain’t no damn hip hop song & that’s why the Grammys ain’t even consider it hip hop. Mind you we all know these award shows are quick to categorise everything that isn’t pop into rnb/hiphop so that’s very telling.

Sis, are you calling out white gays but in here  needing to use the Grammys as a genre definer?  :bibliahh:

SFG is a hip-hop song that was #1 on multiple HIp-Hop charts if that metric helps you that much.

No, I really want an answer to my questions, where is this rhetoric from, what is a hip-hop song to you, and what makes you a hip-hop aficionado? Oh, and are the artists I mentioned pop stars? Dont need anything else. I'm waiting.

Y’all are trying to muddle the plot like usual. Super Freaky Granny was crafted by a (sex offender) pop producer designed to be a hit in every way possible. Not that releasing a surefire hit is a bad thing innately, but Hiss is just not… that. The two are completely different and H1SS going #1 is far more impressive
