Popular Post Tusk Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 What do you mean that you don’t know your music history and artists released maxi cd singles all the time with multiple versions of the single? 18 1
GraceRandolph Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Streaming doesn’t work as a business model. Look at how new stars struggle. We’re watching the streaming TV model implode and soon the music model will as well. 3
Dolce Vita Posted January 19 Posted January 19 lets not act like yes, and? (extended mix) (instrumental) (sped up) didn’t eat 11
50thStateofMind Posted January 19 Posted January 19 the extended, sped up, and acapella versions are fire though
TaylorNation Posted January 19 Posted January 19 so when Ariana does it it’s a maxi-single but when other artists do it it’s a scam? 8 5
Popular Post Cameltoe Chariot Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 Compared to Taylor and her shenanigans this is NOTHING Miss Swift made a f*cking clock kit to convince fans they need 4 copies of the Midnights vinyl, please be serious 3 3 24 7

Bonicap Posted January 19 Posted January 19 What a weird tweet. The streaming model will collapse when/if a better alternative appears, not because an A List artist drops a few remixes. And Ariana is competing to top the charts, a perfectly legal and moral thing that a lot of artists do. It's their job and they have every right to use all the tools at their disposal. 1

In fact, there are other artists putting one different extra song in every variant, which is more extreme than just putting a few numbers on the back cover that create a clock. 1 2
Popular Post Bussea Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 Ari stans trying to pull a “who cares!” but spent the last year dragging artists who did this 6 4 16
Riverbank Posted January 19 Posted January 19 It will be collapsing down the charts in the following weeks too 1

Popular Post Taylena Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 When Taylor releases 4 versions in a week, she's trying too much, she's desperate, she's pathetic, she's a scammer, she can't get a hit without her tactics and there's multiple threads with 10 pages on ATRL dragging her, but when Ariana releases 14 versions it's all fine and dandy for the users here. I actually don't care how many versions she's releases, I believe an artist should do everything possible to be successful. My problem is with stans being huge hypocrites and just finding a problem when certain artists do it. 10 10
