Carry My Heart Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Quote Taylor Swift’s impact on the NFL and its fanbase has been monumental this season and it’s been especially beneficial for designer Kristin Juszczyk. Knowing how many women tuned into Chiefs games this season to spot the Grammy Award-winner and her game-day outfits, Juszczyk made one of the most business-savvy moves possible. Quote The designer sent Swift one of her custom repurposed jersey jackets to wear for the Chiefs game against the Miami Dolphins. Swift rocked the look by Juszcyzk to the game and since then, the designer’s gained more than 500,000 followers on Instagram in less than a week. It is not an alien concept that someone wants to participate in partner’s hobbies or to get to know their job. It’s called support. Edited January 19 by Lemon 9 2

Well to be honest, it seems very out of character for her to be dating a football player and going to games to scream at the refs or whatever she does considering she always dated artists (actors and musicians) and generally kept it low key. It all screams PR relationship to raise her celebrity profile as America's Sweetheart even more, but good for her I guess, it worked. Edited January 19 by Jay07 6

My point is that her every move is documented on this very board because success stans want to circle jerk 24/7 about her being the biggest whatever in the history of the universe but the second someone contributes the most vaguely critical comment, they melt down and pivot to personal insults, kind of like you're doing now. So yeah, grow up. 1 1 9

I would say it is only natural when you are in relationship. The only difference is the job of Travis in this very case, which is exactly why it “seems” different this time. Just because she “kept it low-key” before doesn’t mean she can’t keep it “high-key” now or that it means it is not sincere. It can all scream whatever you want it to scream though. 1

Chainsmoker Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Not “indie” when she’s the wife of a player on the 49ers.

It is out of character, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not genuine. Nobody except those in her inner circle can know for sure, though, so I understand if you view this behavior with a level of skepticism. I personally don't think she's in a relationship like this strictly to raise her status because historically relationships have been a source of extremely bad press for her. She and Tree spent an entire album cycle trying to get people to focus on her female friendships instead of her love life. She's tried her hardest to distance herself from the label of "scorned girl who writes about her exes" for well over a decade. The start of the Eras Tour until now marks what will probably be her commercial peak and she did that without any sort of narrative about her dating history. I highly doubt she'd risk that to boost her profile by dating a guy from the NFL when it easily could have blown up in her face. Are the two of them using, to their own benefit, the overwhelmingly positive reception to their pairing? Absolutely. But I imagine that was a decision made after the fact instead of a justification to unite them in the first place.
