Ellen did this in 2012 when Madonna was in the middle of the MDNA tour! Ellen said she’s not attending her tour because she knows Madonna always starts late. Madonna said something along the lines of she’s just too busy 2
robbyds Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Good. She deserves the lashings for being unprofessionally late. Hopefully, she listens and starts on time for the remainder of the tour.
Soda Pop Queen Posted January 20 Posted January 20 waits for M's incoming rant at the next show. Remember when she said this during a Rebel Heart show? I love her but she knows she's full of it lol 1

Be respectful to those who feed you. In what way does Madonna feed them? or did you just word the post weird and mean Madonna should be respectful to her fans Edited January 20 by Gaia

Those who feed artists are the ones who support them and spend money. Be respectful to them. Being late can happen, but being late often and starting your shows hours late is very disrespectful. 1
readytowind Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) Did this flopping sexist show have an enough field day??? They never liked nor supported madonna anyway. Especially a few women from there. Just taking an opportunity to throw **** at her and make their favorite look as if she were perfect. as some lame woman from that flopping show dared to say her favorite bey is 'always on time'. Oh really????? So called false advertisement for respect. Please respect your false information first. Lmao Edited January 20 by readytowind

ebaby Posted January 20 Posted January 20 my thing with all this is: if you want to start your show at 10. fine. I don't give af. I've shown up to clubs much later than that. just be transparent with your audience about when you are starting and be consistent with it so we can plan accordingly. I don't want to be sitting around Madison Square Garden for 2 whole hours
Horizon Flame Posted January 20 Posted January 20 The reason for the delays is because her people are looking to sell more tickets the day of. They don’t want to shut the doors because there’s the possibility of people buying tickets just before the show officially starts. All the dates haven’t been selling out and fans with bad seats are being pushed to the front - lucky them. This is a typical business tactic and really not her fault. You can still buy tickets this month for shows this month. Madonna is not going to admit to poor sales so she’s stuck saying nothing or apologizing without giving a believable reason. 1
naval23 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 2 hours is crazy late. While she can do it, it isn't respectful of fans
DamianSolo Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I've been to a handful of concerts, and each one started on time to the minute—except for one, which started late by roughly 20 minutes. It's both unprofessional and disrespectful to be hours late; there's absolutely no excuse for that. That indicates a lack of care and concern and a true disconnect from your very own audience. Just as we're expected to plan accordingly in our lives to be on time for our jobs, appointments, dates, etc., so is she—whether she feels like she has to or not. The lawsuit against her is justified, especially when people's finances are affected by it.
