as a medonster and someone who saw the show and absolutely loved it... she had this coming and deserves to lose the lawsuit. she's been doing this for more than 10 years.

 

she was almost an hour late to my show, which was fine because i got to kiki with my friend, but it also meant my friend couldn't see the whole show as he had a night shift that day and had to leave just before The Beast Within interlude. being 30-45 minutes late is fine, but 2+ hours is excessive. people have lives, our time is just as precious as hers. even if she wins the lawsuit i hope this bad press will teach her to be more punctual next time.

Madonna's fans are truly so unhinged and weird. You would expect most of them to have a brain and be able to criticize her while still stanning, outside of the parasocial bullshit.

 

Yes, you kinda should know what you're signing up for if you're going to a Madge concert because she's always been late. Yes, she's old and she has health problems and she's doing an incredibly amazing job on stage for her age. But that still does not make it okay. It's not a 1-3 times thing but a habit at this point, and she's not even minutes late. It's disrespectful and unprofessional. People have jobs, trains to catch, etc.

 

I'll say that suing is a bit overdramatic but go off sisters dd

I think Madonna needs a good opening act, instead of a dj. It could be a singer or a drag queen show. That way, people will be entertained until she takes stage and maybe people won’t complain as much?

The problem  (at least in Barcelona this year) is that the opening act finished the concert in time, and then we had to wait 2 hours in "silence" for her...

 

Me and my friends didnt see the act cause we knew that Madonna would be late. So we arrived at the time that the M concert was suposse to start... and waited two hours for it (we didn't want to risk arriving too late in case she was on time for once.)

You can always rely on the biggest mouths (of a particular lobotomized base) to come running to project and twist things whenever there's any negativity surrounding the Queen of Pop.

 

She hasn't always been late, she was punctual for the first four tours and was even early for some of the European dates on the new tour. The late starts began on the DWT, so you're either fabricating or haven't done any research.

 

I don't see anyone defending her for being late and why should we? it is unprofessional of her to keep the fans waiting for hours, but they know she isn't reliable and that's why some of us plan accordingly and pick a date where we don't have any commitments the following day, but lord knows why I'm telling this to a group of people that pretend to give a fk about her fans when we all know they're reasons for piling in this thread...

let's be honest, Madonna put herself in this position and most comments are just criticising her unprofessionalism, which they are right to do. she's pissed off hundreds of thousands of people with her extreme tardiness at this point, it was just a matter of time before someone sued. the people who sued her are "overdramatic" at worst, but it doesn't change the fact that she's constantly super late. she has nobody to blame but herself.

 

and I say this as a stan who attended the tour and is constantly perched in the tour thread. i love her work, but if she wants to live by the sword, she'll get sued by the sword

It's telling how most of these comments are coming from one particular base, and no they do not have a right to complain,  since the majortity never attended in the first place.
