Then she should just retire if she too old too make it too her concerts or has a number of health issues.

Or alternatively she can still tour for all the people who are not suing (which is a lot more) and who have bothered to read the many online reviews of the average start times of her set for most dates on her two recent concert tours.

I’ve already requested the following workday off when I see her I’m March in anticipation of her late start times :rip:

I too was a victim of Madonnas horrific TARDINESS in Brooklyn and would like compensation

Hope they lose and then have to pay the judicial costs.

This is ridiculous. She’s a woman of a certain age with certain health problems. Most of which we know nothing about.

It’s ridiculous to have a showtime of 8 and start at 10. :rip: I’m glad they’re suing ha inconsiderate ass.

Well, suing seems too extreme, but it seems like a habit of hers at this point. I find it rude to leave all the people waiting just like that.

People have transportation and hotels. She can be more graceful to her fans tbh.

I hope they win and more will sue anyone who always come late to their own concert. Half an hour late is more then enough. But to be late +1 hour that just absurd and disgusting. I don't care who you are, you do your job right and be in time.

I mean Im sorry they had to wait but at this point this is not news. It's kinda on them for not knowing after the 6th straight tour of tardiness.

This won’t go anywhere.

LiveNation/Ticketmaster have their backs covered.

This is just to generate press and get their names on the news. They won’t get a dime.

I guess they weren’t at the MadameX opening in Brooklyn when the show started way after midnight.

I had to work the next day and didn’t get home until 4 am

I get their concerns, but I doubt they’ll win

Madonna is always late. If her legal team hadn’t prepared for this or put it in the T&Cs I’d be very shocked

Whether they win or not, I hope this will be a PR nightmare for Madonna so that she either changes her way or make an acceptable explanation (or right correct start times on tickets). Before anyone comes for me, i’ve been a fan since 85.

Yeah two hours might be pushing it but come on

MIGHT be pushing it? :chick2:

What other event would you accept being two hours late?

A movie? No.

A Broadway show? No.

A dance recital? No.

A book reading/signing? No.

A political rally? No.

A college class? No.

Dinner reservations? No.

A Grindr hookup? No. (If you love yourself.)

Yet we have somehow created a culture in which an artists being TWO HOURS late to start a concert "might be pushing it" and I find that kind of absurd :deadbanana2: We don't accept this is any other context and artists need to start treating their fans' time with more respect. Plenty of artists do start on time. They ALL should.

As they should

honestly, its not only Madonna, but starting shows late is disrespectful

I honestly don't know how it works in this instance. But if an artist announces a delay by even an hour or 2 there should be an option to leave and request a refund of some sort. If a product is not as advertised even time wise they should be eligible for their money back. But if you stay and consume the whole show to me you still got the product and accepted it as is by staying

Like what else is she doing with her damn day to start so late? Some technical difficulties here and there sure but it’s just on her now and it’s disgusting to make people wait.

Will they let people in late?

Did anywhere specify that MADONNA HERSELF would start at 8:30? Or did it say "the show starts at 8:30", which means one or two openers?

Because in that case people just can't read and it's their own fault :skull:
