True but RB's rollout and approach was most definitely modelled after FB's with adjustments made to tailor it to Selena'a demo, hence why it was in Sephora from the get go. HB took YEARS and a whole rebrand to be in Sephora and while it did quite well as we've seen, it just couldn't match RB's reach

Makes sense. Rare Beauty has totally blown up in the past 1-2 years, it even feels bigger than Fenty these days. The beauty industry moves VERY quickly.

 

Halsey also surprisingly has a successful makeup brand right now with About Face. It's all about product quality and branding for these companies.

It hasn't. LVMH reported that Fenty Beauty doubled their revenue in 2022 which means their revenue is above $1B....some folks don't understand there's a difference between revenue and valuation
