Cameltoe Chariot Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Only LordeUpdatesBR would refer to Kyle MacLachlan as "the actor mostly known for Twin Peaks", as if he isn't an absolute A List icon with memorable roles in so many other iconic movies and series as well... I mean, Twin Peaks is the most iconic and had a massive resurgence with this generation so it's not surprising (esp since he's the main character)...

Showgirls has had a total reappraisal in the past 5 years or so and is now considered a misunderstood masterpiece. There are several documentaries that have covered this including the phenomenal "You Don't Nomi", which I hiiiighly recommend! Across the board film critics now see Showgirls as a seminal 90s erotic thriller. Its not just a gay classic anymore!

However, it turns out the song didn’t make the final track list because Lorde felt “it didn’t fit in tonally.” Quote He’d tweeted a long time ago that he was a big fan of a New Zealand artist called Tiny Ruins, who makes this beautiful, delicate, well-written music. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if I could get them together?” They headed off and they recorded a beautiful, beautiful song for the soundtrack, and it was one of the hardest decisions I had to make not including it. It was so dear to me, but it was an outlier in terms of tone and style, and I thought it would be better suited for one of their projects at some point. But there’s nothing weirder than having a David Lynch song on your computer and not using it.
