we are a couple of weeks into the new year what do you hope to happen not only in 1984, but in the rest of your professional life, what are your dreams? What’s left of dem?

To Rule The World

no statement have ever been truer

Holiday became her first number one on the club charts and began her string of top 20 hits that would last until 1993

40 ******* YEARS!!!!

I wish I lived those days, especially the 80’s! That was the peak of the music industry. I don’t think we’ll experience that era in our lifetime :chick3:

Everything was legendary from the very first second of her public life. It's crazy to imagine what happened after that… The music world was never the same. She surpassed everyone and became the best-selling female artist of all-time. It makes me so emotional :chick3:

I always loved how they led the Hall of Fame montage with that last quote:

She got cemented as the queen of pop. From the beginning she was a star of a life time.

She did rule the world. Yes.

There will be nobody like her.

The name is already iconic.

💯 she is the GOAT of pop girls and set the modern template for all who followed. She will never be replaced or topped in terms of cultural change and impact.
