SweetTalker Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) “Can we expect new music within the next couple of months?” “Sooner than you think!” Are you ready for the coca-cola shaped chanteuse to come back and save or kill pop music? Edited March 4 by SweetTalker 4 6

Bby, the question said “within the next….” meaning anytime between now and 2 months. Which would be March. Then she said “sooner than you think”, implying it could be coming before those “couple of months” are up. 1
Junho_lover Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Ohhh I love me some Mabel. I hope we have some bops in the vein of Mad Love, Crying on the Dance-floor, let them know, etc. 2

Polgg48 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 please just do dropping a single and release album after a month or few, i cant effort to witness a year gap LTK/GL tanked to album date PTSD again. i'd take DCMU rehash on this if it's a smash top 10, no shame. 1
Abracadabra Posted January 14 Posted January 14 About Last Night had some bops, it deserved better tbh. I wonder if she will go back to her earlier R&B sound which I loved for her when she first came out. 2
Vicki Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Yayyy she's coming, I can confirm that the album is finished and the lead single is ready for release! 12 tracks (11 full songs and 1 interlude) and it's gonna be a mix of a few different genres, some pop, some R&B, some... well let's not spoil everything now 10 2

Gelato Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Interesting. I think she can do quite well with the right lead single but she can't afford another messy rollout.

Peppa31 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 High Expactations was very good ! Hopefully the new album will be as good as this one 1
Theshigo Washidu Posted January 14 Posted January 14 If it's anything like About Last Night then keep it. The insider's post in here is giving High Expectations teas and that sound for the most part works well for Mabel.
Vicki Posted January 14 Posted January 14 3 hours ago, Delirious said: would you say the album is better than her other 3 albums? how would rank them? Well first up maybe I should have mentioned this but I'm not an insider and I've never been but multiple of my friends are and this information comes from them, I can confirm that they are reliable and if they would like to they can come here and share their opinion but I can't speak on their behalf As for my ranking on the released albums. since you asked so kindly I will tell you It's kind of hard to say but honestly I think her older more R&B music is the one that has aged the best so Ivy To Roses is #1 and then... hard to pick between HE and ALN but maybe HE for the nostalgia 4 hours ago, WERKER said: Are there any LTK style songs on the album or has she ditched that aesthetic and sound? There are I think! Once again I haven't heard but my friends have and this info comes from them, mainly @ANG3Lstie so if he'd like to he can state his opinion and answer questions But yeah, there is 1 song (or more than 1 song, not sure?) written and produced by people from Max Martin's team that has a sound reminiscent of ALN album so she isn't finished with that sound yet! 4 hours ago, Alex said: oh wow 3 hours ago, sam.teas said: spill bestie. everyone will be speechless 1 1
Jay L Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Omg I forgot she existed tbh I wish her luck though! She serves a cute bop every now and then
