Girl, that's not what "ripping off" means. There was thought and intent behind it, which is the opposite of the thoughtless and desperate "ripping off." Artists don't exist in a vacuum. Paula herself was inspired by others to create her version of the material.

 

I guess Madonna ripped off poc queers and old Hollywood for Vogue.
