For any fellow Americans, I do recommend calling your representatives in Congress.

I know things like "425/434 House members vote for pro-Israel resolution" can feel defeating, and the sudden 180 it feels for progress for Palestinian humanity amongst many Dems, but politicians at their core are institutionalist.

They're going to defer to how the system deems the direction of power and not their own morals, so head Dems being Zionists will take many people calling their reps to express pro-Palestinian sentiment to overcome.

I just know it feels like "what do I do?" for some and, without centering the American perspective, I think Americans do have to contend with our government being the biggest enabler and financier of Israel.

Jewish Voice for Peace has a form that will call you and automatically forward you to your rep's offices.

You can also use the below to look up your reps (2 Senators + 1 Rep) by state and zip code.

https://www.senate.gov/senators/senators-contact.htm
https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

You'll likely even just get a voicemail that a staffer goes through but it can help share sentiment.

I hope Genocide Biden loses the next election. Blinken and him are complete distasters. A Republican president wouldn't have been better, but at this point I just want Biden and Democrats be ******* humiliated at the polls

The mental gymnastics to not say Israel killed him

Also:

Instagram is playing a dirty game too. Me and my friends' stories as well as soooo many creators/journalists that I follow are being shadow-banned and the reach of their stories & posts has massively declined. The last story I shared was from a Palestinian journalist's page and it has 5 views after 7 hours. They also suspended journalist-photographer Motaz Azaiza's account for no reason, but thankfully he got it back.  Go follow him (@motaz_azaiza) if you don't. He's reporting in English live from Gaza.

Meta is once again silencing the Palestinian voice and not even being subtle about it.

Palestinians struggle to evacuate northern Gaza amid growing Israeli warnings of ground offensive

https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-gaza-hamas-war-785e0eb833715354cade4694e8ccbf67

Palestinians struggled Saturday to flee from areas of Gaza targeted by the Israeli military while grappling with a growing water and medical supply shortage ahead of an expected land offensive a week after Hamas’ bloody, wide-ranging attack into Israel.

Gaza Strip:

2,228 killed

8,744 wounded

423,000 displaced

Israel:

1,300+ killed

3,400 wounded

200+ abducted

26,000+ displaced

Hopefully this will lead to more celebrities actually supporting the children of Gaza.

Definitely. It started becoming more obvious with the May 2021 uprising and the assassination of Shireen Abu Akleh last year.
