I was permabanned from r/worldnews because I said Israel and their government are essentially terrorists themselves.

The neocons on there will stand for NO slander against precious Israel whatsoever

I think he captures the sentiment well. But I would disagree about the British taking to the Zionist movement - there’s just as much evidence that the Brits actively worked against the Zionists. But he’s completely right about the conditions in Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and head of the National Union party Benny Gantz have reached an agreement to form an emergency government on Wednesday as the war against Hamas enters its fifth day and a Gaza invasion looms.

Gantz will join the Netanyahu-led government and be part of a war cabinet, a small forum of ministers tasked with shaping Israel’s strategy in the battle against Hamas, Israeli news outlets reported.

Gantz, a former defense minister and military chief of staff, will take part in the war cabinet alongside Netanyahu and current Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Former IDF Gen. Gadi Eisenkot and Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer will serve as observers in the war cabinet.

The cabinet will last for the duration of the war, during which no legislation or non-Gaza government resolutions will be advanced in the Israeli Knesset, the statement said.

Gantz has stressed that the priority now lies in Israel winning the war. Opposition head Yair Lapid has conditioned joining an emergency government on far-right ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich distancing themselves from handling any security issues. Yisrael Beitenu head Avigdor Liberman said he would join such a government if its stated goal were to eliminate Hamas.

And that's the crux of the issue. Even if the Palestinians were peaceful, Israel would have to still push them out since they believe they won't be safe unless the country is demographically majority Jewish. So what are the Palestinians supposed to do about that? Willfully leave? You understand why that is untenable and why Israel is being directly blamed for the conflict regardless of Hamas's actions.

I agree with the Palestinian voices for a 2 state solution - and I do believe majority of Palestinians would co exist with Israel in a one state as well. But it would be constant terrorism for some time

I don't think 2 states solution is realistic at this point judging from how aggressive Israel is building the illegal settlement, this is not mutualism it's a parasitism until one side gets eradicated. Heck even one state solution is bad considering Israel is practicing apartheid system which Jews have all the benefits meanwhile the rest especially Arabs are treated as 2nd class citizen :doc:

:doc: Shouldn’t civilians on both sides be brought to safety first? Why do they have to suffer in this war

Only Israeli citizens’ lives matter, haven’t you heard?

Northern Israel currently attacked, with paraglides and drones.

Don’t be surprised when Israel reacts at this accordingly, as a existential threat.

It seems Hezbollah has 'officially' joined the war, things will get worse in upcoming days. I hope both Israelis and Palestinians can take shelter if not leave the war zone. Egypt should open that Rafah gate tho :monkey:

Are we surprise at this point? Even without provocation IDF has done this for decades.

What would Hezbollah joining the war mean? Is it going to be bad or VERY bad and why?

Why don’t Israeli and Palestinians just leave their countries until the war is over? Aren’t they allowed to leave?

People in Gaza are under total blockade, they can't freely leave unlike Israelis. This is why people called Gaza the biggest open-air prison in the world.

They can’t get out.

Now Hezbollah is joining in, another terrorist organization. Praying for the innocent Israelis hiding in shelters right now, and for the Lebanese that suffer under Hezbollah’s illegal rule (and will suffer from Israel’s response)

Big escalation in the conflict. No surprise though considering Hezbollah are as bad as ISIS and Hamas.

I have expressed over and over again sorrow and horror for their situation. I’m in regular contact with my Palestinian friends. What have you done to support a Palestinian today?

Please explain exactly how they can leave. Stop answering a question with a question.
