Teflon means she can take a hit and keep going people, she was built to withstand and and remain strong. It's not hard to understand.

January is where major films go to flop. Pop stars are a different story: After years dominated by Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” (January 12), The Weeknd’s Dawn FM (January 7), and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” (January 8)

Are they trying to rewrite history? This album didn't even debut at #1, lmao

Teflon?

Did they go out of their way to dig through a list of adjectives to find that word?

Quote

used to refer to someone able to withstand criticism or attack with no apparent effect.

Extremely accurate for this release :clap3: It's really water off her back, she can almost do no wrong.

It’s a nod to popular internet usage of ‘the face is facing’ etc, signifying they’re in the know with that terminology, the thing that music journalism needs to do to cater to their audience made out of specifically that age group

Some of you are so out of it

It's bad "journalism" is what it is. Literally the "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?" meme. Maybe if they spent energy on trying to write a proper review instead of trying to invoke Gen Z slang they'd have ended up with a review that talked about the actual music.

What kind of writing is this :deadbanana2:

I got “the gift that keeps on giving” vibes from it. It’s also been adapted over the years on the internet for things like “the girls are girling”, etc.

They also don't last and a little scratch from metal spoon ends them so I didn't get it either
