Thoughts? Edited January 11 by SKESTU 3 1
.Odyssey. Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Ugh. I want to go back to Spotify so badly...its recommendation engine is far, far superior to Apple...but music quality is too important to me Edited January 11 by .Odyssey.
Cameltoe Chariot Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I switched to Apple Music last year and honestly... it's so much better Spotify may have playlists and a better suggestion algorithm but I'd rather make my own playlists if it means superior music quality. People are clinging to Spotify because of its annual wrapped feature and brand recognition, not much else. 7
bliaz Posted January 11 Posted January 11 But why? What's stopping the most popular music streaming platform from offering HiFi when everyone already has it?

airplane Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Left spotify for amazon music and it’s the best choice i’ve made. The music quality is soo superior and so is the loudness and clarity. Just perfect! Deffo not going back now
Kyoto Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I will keep using them, cause I enjoy them the most, but they are basically the only streaming service that still has to implement hi-fi.
James_Dean Posted January 11 Posted January 11 If Spotify weren't so user friendly, I would have switched by now
Katamari Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Their what? When was this announced electric chair maybe the audiobook update was pushed instead

They're hemorrhaging money and likely can't afford to float the cost of server/bandwidth for lossless streaming on the scale people would be using it. Edited January 12 by The7thStranger 3

Maybe they need to spend less money on Times Square takeovers for every random single that comes out 4

Unfortunately these days, companies don't care about anything except shareholders and net profit 1
truthteller Posted January 12 Posted January 12 arent they changing the name to supremium or something like that a while ago
Bosque Posted January 12 Posted January 12 There’s no way on earth any user on this forum would be able to tell a Spotify music file from a “high fidelity” one released by Apple Music or Tidal even with a gun to their head
