Imagine the amount of people who already booked their flights/hotels and won't get that money back? I don't understand why she couldn't just finish this arena leg, and then do a second USA leg in stadiums next summer? Most of these arenas were already sold out, and if the show got good reviews, she could've easily sold out stadiums next year due to good reviews and positive word of mouth. What is her team doing? I have my tickets sis, and I have lovely Shakira stans for a husband and a best friend, and I am sad that they are disappointed. I've been a fan for 20 years and it is true that the Detroit show was nowhere near sold out. I just bought an additional ticket on October 8th in the lower bowl, so I know that is a fact. People were justly criticizing Chappell Roan for similar reasons when she cancelled some European dates: you shouldn't screw out your fans because your team sees a better opportunity for money and/or exposure, especially when it won't make you lose any money. The problem with Shakira is that ever since She Wolf, she keeps falling and flopping upward. She realized she doesn't need to give music her all because us fans and the GP always end up coming back around and rewarding her. Oh, she forgot about her career when she was with Piqué? No problem, here's the breakup now to make numbers and revive her career! Say, people are tired of that and didn't take to her half-assed "album" (I love the new songs, but lbr) or her lazy playback performances? It's cool, she'll lay low for a bit, release a danceable single and prove that she's still current by selling out stadiums in Latin America, which in turn will raise her international profile and make her team feel more confident about future dates. I'm part of the problem, because as a longtime fan, I still support her and will be in the first row for those Spanish dates. But if she had at least a bit of decency, she should at minimum give us something to work with… I hope she truly does give us an incredible production with actual vocals and effort put into the setlist and the performances. And honestly, at this point, she should release an EP with new music to keep the interest up. 3 1 1

Either way they should've booked already stadiums in major cities, I don't know why her team changed their minds, obviously after the success of the Latam shows they want to put a bigger production but still a shame for the US fans 3
