Shakira: Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour | New US Dates Announced!

The stadium stage is not shaped but it seems a lot bigger than the arena stage. The arena one looks like a tiny catwalk with the diamond thingie in the middle. This one seems far wider.

Also, you cant judge a stage based on its shape. I remember being disappointed in the 1989 tour having a basic catwalk as opposed to previous tours, only to find out the catwalk lifted and spinned in the air later.

Regarding the setlist, Dia De Enero and Las De La Intuicion are a MUST. Those would go super viral on Tik Tok if she performed them!

I figured Shakira would do Yankee Stadium or Citi Field. Is Shakira popular enough in the region to fill Metlife?

Im so mad that she's not doing citifield like wtf going out to jersey is so out the way for me

If she's aiming for a big hit in English to appeal to the the anglo audiences again, i think she should consider teaming up with The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Bieber, or possibly Bad Bunny. A track with a disco, dancehall, world music vibe, or even an Arabic urban twist might do the trick. It's pretty clear the U.S. isn't really into her country?? folk, ballads, pop rock, electropop, house, or synthpop songs.

I would also love a Burna Boy or Feid collab in the future. Her afrobeat songs are cute.

Dont really care about female collabs cause i feel like all the stars from her generation are flops. it would not benefit her that much.
Maybe something with Beyonce again or Maybe Taylor..Maybe doja cat

If she goes country in the future (hope not) here  for a Morgan Wallen collab
After all she knew him before he was famous

Her doing a song with The Weeknd, Bruno Mars or Bad Bunny would be great. She's lowkey above Justin Bieber.

Electropop, synthpop and dancehall would be great soundscapes for her to explore. She needs to tap into the Middle Eastern/Arab pop sound asap before Jade or Faouzia breakthrough with it

Feid is basic so no

And don't write out female collaborations! She could easily make a hit with Lady Gaga, Blackpink, Dua Lipa and if she really wanted to

A Morgan collab? Why would you want her tied to a racist?!

Oh yes, the EP is almost confirmed as real by insiders. I wonder if she'll release it next year.

Unfortunately, I don't see her releasing English music anytime soon. Maybe in the future with the next record. Hopefully, I'm wrong, and a miracle happens.*
I wouldn't mind a bilingual album next. It doesn't have to be fully in English. She could deliver another Laundry Service with songs in both Spanish and English to please both the Anglo world and Latin America. I hope the Spanglish culture in Miami inspires her. I'd love to see something very chill and Caribbean next. Give me your Bangerz shaki lmfao

"Día De Enero" would be perfect, but the lyrics are too centered on Antonio de la Rúa, so I'm not sure about that.
I think "Las de la Intuición" will be performed cause is a ladies anthem and it suits the era.

Yeah I'd rather she delay the EP and flesh it out into an full length album and I agree put both English and Spanish songs and no translations or other peoples songs taking up space on the tracklist Shak!

Girl what are you smoking with these names? The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, and Bieber just wouldn't sound right. Bad Bunny has begun flopping ever since he ruined his credibility w/ the latin community in his Kendall Jenner era. Atp she's better off releasing a collab w/ one of the BLACKPINK girls.

She can easily make a banner with The Weeknd and Bruno. Yeah Benito lost his edge big time with Kendull. Where is the release of ORIGAMI that was confirmed to be a collab with a kpop girl group

She could release something great with Bruno. They're both extremely versatile, and would find something that works if they cared enough. I mean, Bruno is currently #1 with a song he just released with a Kpop act that samples Hey Mickey, while simultaneously being #2 with a Lady Gaga ballad collaboration.

And yeah Bad Bunny kinda lost his cool factor. I dont know if a collab would work as great as it would have a few years ago. But he's still one of the biggest names around. From the latin scene Bad Bunny, Feid and Peso Pluma would do i think.

With the Spanish males I'd rather her do something with Myke Towerz

From the females Rosalia and the following just cause she's been hanging with them and seem friendly Belinda, Danna Paola, Natti Natasha, Becky G, Greeicy, Tini, Emilia, Camila Cabello and Farina

Shakira said she would like to collaborate with Taylor Swift and Taylor said she grew up listening to Shakira. The thing is I don't see her making any English music in the foreseeable future.

Well she needs to Ingles sin barrera asap and give us a bilingual or English bop asap

Disagree hennie. The Weekend has a very strange vocal tone like Shakira. He's from african heritage-ethiopian.
Shakira music works well with strange-rare voices specially if theyre from similar geographical regions.
If you notice some of her biggest collabs are with some really weird-strange vocalists. :gaycat4:

Bruno Would be amazing for Shak. Cant Remember To Forget You was very similar to locked out of heaven and people used to compare both songs back in 2010s
He's also scoring hit after hit. He's also from hawaii and shakira is from the caribbean :jonnykin:

I dont like Bieber but the guy has smash hits and Shakira likes him and Bieber likes Shakira too

Im mentioning these guys cause i feel like they would give Shakira the biggest chances of Chartin High in the States
I just want her to close the english chapter of her career with some hits cause she clearly doesnt look that interested.
It would be a good ending a final english record with some success. :gaycat5:

I also dont like Bad Bunny.  The way he's been ignorin Shakira is disgustin even when she asked for a collab and his shade to Colombian artists makes me angry
He's also not as popular as Before and everyone see him as problematic-a sellout (the kardashian thing) but still i feel like he could bounce back in the charts

I can see him scoring hits in the future with his next record and in the USA he's still highly popular among audiences
i dont like him but i think Shakira and him could make a strong Summer hit with him. The guy is highly creative.
It would be like selling your soul to the devil of course....but everything for more hits :eli:

I would love of course more collabs with american pop females.
I love them more than male singers.......But i feel like females collabs rarely do good in the charts????????
I can see her havin good positions with someone like taylor, beyonce, doja cat as a feat. Maybe Dua Lipa.

I would love of course a collab with Blackpink too cause some of their songs are arabic influenced and their views are massive.
I think the would suit shaki really well. Hope that collab is real
Some months ago i had a chance of makin songs in a program and i did this one of Shakira singin Boombayah of Blackpink
Check it out!

Tea. She's above Bieber, but the guy has one of the biggest songs of the decade, "Stay". Mark my words, he'll make a big comeback soon. :gaycat5:

100% here for Dancehall :gaycat4:  i think Shakira would make something amazing with that. Not reggae. Dancehall. Like Those Old RIhanna Dancehall songs.

I don't know, sis. Electropop isn't trendy on the charts anymore. "143" by Katy Perry, which leans heavily into electropop, feels kind of dated. I think it might make a comeback in a few years with Gen Alpha, but not yet. I'd love to see Shakira try hyperpop, though.

Disco (Sabrina's Espresso, Flowers ) and Synthpop is what's trending today (like Chappell Roan and Taylor), I love all Shaki synthpop tracks. We don't talk enough about how "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" is Shakira's first deep dive into synthpop, and she deserves praise for that. But "Puntería" is also synthpop, and it flopped. So, I'm worried Shakira might flop with the genre. :emofish: Americans are very racist and when Latinas try different things to the typical (Xoxo Camila Cabello) they ignore them. Theyre gatekeeprs. They want us to play our niches only.
They only like when their white artists make Synthpop.

Another  issue is Shakira is working with reggaeton producers for synthpop tracks, and they just aren't cutting it. Theyre not well verses in the genre.
I don't want to sound harsh, but while Bizarrap is a cutie, he can be a bit generic at times, and I'm not sure he's the right fit for Shakira. "La Fuerte" was nice, but many called it "generic."  He's loved in Latinoamerica but internationally wise he's not seen as groundbreakin.

Lately she's been very in love with Afrobeat or african music :gaycat2:
i wonder when she will move away from that.I wouldnt mind more afrobeats tracks. Like them a lot.
Waka Waka, Comme Moi, Nassau, Soltera............

Agree, Feid is pretty basic, but he's super popular right now. He and Blessd are probably the hottest urban stars here in Colombia, and two of the biggest rising names in Latin America. What about Peso Pluma? Are you here for a collab between him and Shakira? :gayalipacat3:

Yep, sorry about the female collab thing yll—we really do need more superstar female collabs.
But Shakira's pretty headstrong, as we've seen in recent interviews. She doesn't care about public opinion; she's doing what she feels like. She's a meanie.  :gaycat2:   Me da gracia como ultimamente hemos visto gracias a entrevistas que ella sabe lo que quieren los fans muchas veces pero la verdad le vale madre a la shaki y ella hace lo que le gusta hacer y ya.....LOL. Cabrita rebelde :gaycat3::bibliahh::suburban:

Shakira has collaborated with some controversial people in the past, like René (who supports dictatorships), Maluma (Google it), and Nicky Jam (a Trump supporter) TimbalandLilWayne.......ETC But yeah, the Morgan Wallen thing was a dumb idea.

I don't think she's going country, though. She already explored folk-country on her 2014 self-titled album, and it had moderate success. She should move on from that genre. :coffee2: The country industry has so many racist people too. I dont want Shakira to deal with those situations :emofish:

At the end of the day, some of y'all can be mad she swapped up her North America tour to add and include stadiums, but I am elated. From resellers trying to sell the furthest tickets possible at the Forum in LA of all places for 500 dollars I was just able to buy two decent club seats at SoFi for about 416 dollars during this pre-sale. The queen came through.

No, New Jersey is like 50% sold

Posted

She should've booked a stadium in Chicago and not charlotte. Oh boy that date is tanking

her skipping Chicago means she's doing either Lolla (I hope) or Sueños… which I doubt but then again she's doing Besame mucho so maybe

You might need to refresh it. I was trying to get 2 more tickets for two of my friends on the same area and they are all gone. I only see resale tickets available.

Kicking off in Charlotte is a super random choice. Have other Latin artists performed at stadiums there?

Posted

Some of the ticket prices will eventually be lowered and then sell better. The prices are too high for a debut stadium tour

She will be the first Latin act to ever perform at a Stadium in North Carolina.

Guys. She's not Taylor Swift. She's not supposed to sell out stadiums a few hours after they go on sale.

Even Beyoncé took months before selling a decent amount of tickets in a few dates that were looking tragic at first.

not her posting a video singing to Pies Descalzos. Maybe she IS going to sing the spanish classics in the Latin Am dates :jonnycat:

Pink, Bad Bunny... The norm is to sell the stadiums slowly

In January we'll see the cities which are actually suffering to sell

Posted

Well she has 7 months to sell those ticket or even more if she cancels again :cm:
