Kool_Aid_King Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 6. Someone Like You - Adele Fans: 11 - @X-Dre 10.25 - @naval23, @Rev8, 10 - Kool_Aid_King, @GreatestLoveofAll, @Saddy, @Norte, @Almighty Gaga, @TMRA, @Achilles., @wish Haters: 2 - @kataraqueen 1 - @jacklovesyou1 #1 in 2011 for 5 Weeks. Adele's best song. I remember when this came out, I didn't get it the first few times but that radio REALLY elevated it, and it helped me a lot through some breakups. We love a song about reflection & pettiness. Going #1 after "Moves Like Jagger", I'm sure the world needed a break from that dance ****, and they chose a GREAT record. So close to top 5 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5. Rude Boy - Rihanna Fans: 11 - Kool_Aid_King 10.5 - @wish 10.25 - @jacklovesyou1 10 - @selena_lavigne, @K$Ellie, @Norte, @theblackestday, @byzantium, @Vixen Eyes Haters: None #1 in 2010 for 5 Weeks. A classic. A masterpiece. Not many songs have touched me like this. "Rated R" came at a very low moment of Rihanna's life. Coming off the very public abuse she suffered at the hands of Chris Brown. This song was the 3rd single but the first one that actually made a huge wave on the chart. The song went on to become Rihanna's 5th #1 single and the highlight of her Superbowl Set. I believe this song deserved #1 but I will take top 5, Good for y'all to not hate it. 2
Vixen Eyes Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) the lyrics (*****) were so deep (down my throat) they would leave me in tears Edited March 15 by Vixen Eyes
naval23 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 The Rank should be: 1. Tik Tok (name a better bridge - I'll wait) 2. Someone Like You 3. Blank Space 4. Rude Boy 5. Only Girl (In the World) 6. All I Want For Christmas Is You
naval23 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Those are my 2 least fav Rih songs and them both being in the top 6 is just
Kool_Aid_King Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 4. All I Want For Christmas is You - Mariah Carey Fans: 11 - @Ken Lee, @oshyms 10.75 - @Saddy, @GraceRandolph, @Hey Dude 10.5 - @JoAddams 10 - @K$Ellie, @DTF, @naval23, @ReachOut, @X-Dre, @Hurem, @Taemira, @Zaynsus Haters: 2 - @ChandlerBing 0 - @Norte #1 in 2019-2023 for 14 Weeks. The song that lives on and on and on. We love a seasonal bop . Written by Mariah Carey & her frequent collaborator turned hater Walter Afsbjfsabfjds (Whose real name is actually Vladimir), this is The highest certified female pop song of all time. The 2nd longest running #1 record by a woman. THEE Classic among Classics. I'm kinda shook this song went top 5, but we love to be festive! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 3. Blank Space - Taylor Swift Fans: 11 - @Sailor Moon 10.75 - @greento 10.5 - @byzantium 10 - Kool_Aid_King, @selena_lavigne, @K$Ellie, @naval23, @ReachOut, @Hurem, @TMRA, @Achilles., @eli's_rhythm, @Zaynsus Haters: 2 - @JoAddams 0 - @theblackestday #1 in 2014 for 7 Weeks. Despite a rocky start, Taylor Swift, the princess of ozone deterioration, was able to finish strong in the rate, landing in the top 3. And what better way to finish the rate, than with one of the greatest pop songs ever made. I really really love this song, I love the energy, I love the playfulness with her past with men & her resilience to keep going. There have been 5 blank spaces since the inception of the song! Hopefully Travis Kelce ends up being the last on the page, but maybe they will split when he doesn't understand the casual and cruelty of the disenfranchised scholars of poetry were about. Time will tell For a long time, this song was actually winning the rate... With a STRONG lead. 2 1

Kool_Aid_King Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 2. TiK ToK - Kesha Fans: 10.75 - @K$Ellie, @naval23, @Vixen Eyes 10.5 - @Sad Serenade 10.25 - Kool_Aid_King 10 - @selena_lavigne, @Sailor Moon, @kataraqueen, @Norte, @theblackestday, @Hey Dude Haters: 2 - @X-Dre #1 in 2010 for 9 Weeks. The first #1 single of the 2010s... and couldn't make it to #1 . I LOVE this song so much, and I remember I used to go on my local radio station and listen to that little 10 second snippet they had... UGH. Takes me all the way back to freshman year of High school. This song blocked Bad Romance and started an iconic (and short-lived) feud between the Monsters & Animals. In my opinion, that app definitely owes Kesha Billions of dollars. After getting her first (uncredited) #1 with "Right Round", Kesha released her debut single that stormed the charts instantly and became a party classic. With so many quotable lyrics, so many parodies & so much love, THANK YOU KESHA! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. Only Girl (In The World) - Rihanna Fans: 11 - @ninasayers, @jacklovesyou1 10.75 - @ReachOut 10.5 - @GreatestLoveofAll 10 - @ChandlerBing, @theblackestday, @JoAddams, @TMRA, @Taemira, @eli's_rhythm, @Zaynsus Haters: 2 - @Rev8 #1 in 2010 for 1 Week. Coming off of huge success of Rude Boy & Love The Way You Lie, Rihanna pivoted her sound and went all out on Dance-Pop. Capitalizing off the EDM Trend, Rihanna releases her greatest effort. Katy Perry actually wanted to snatch this record from Rih, but producers StarGate, like American Idol & the American Public since 2017, said NO! Going #1 after the 2nd single, this became Rihanna's 9th #1 single and 4th #1 single in 2010, the first person to do this since Usher in 2004!!! Good for Rih and congrats to her for winning the rate. She definitely owned the decade! 5 1

kandicha Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I didn’t expect Only Girl to win but I have no problem with that whatsoever! It still goes off in 2024. Thanks @Kool_Aid_King I loved the graphics and the commentary, consistently made me lol. 2
eli's_rhythm Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I’m actually really happy with this top 3, but I definitely thought OGITW would be underrated and barely scrape the top ten nn. Thrilled that SLY didn’t make the top five 1
