trainsskyscrapers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 In looking back at one of my fave movies of all time, Mary Poppins was STACKED, and Ms. Johns' talent was undeniable. To hold your weight alongside fellow British acting legends Julie Andrews, David Tomlinson, Dick Van Dyke, Reginald Owen, and Arthur Treacher, as well as American Ed Wynn is no small feat. Loved her cameo in the classic sitcom Cheers as Diane's mom. She will be missed, but I also realize 100 years on earth is what people pray for. She lived a long, fruitful life. RIP.
