kimberly Posted February 7 Posted February 7 CCA will be awkward if EP sweeps but it is a Critics' award after all, and they've been more lukewarm towards the movie than the industry award circles. I feel like they will spread the love more.
McNulty Posted February 7 Posted February 7 If anyone is interested I made a poll for who do you want to win at the Oscars this year https://forms.gle/QP3pxxsKQBK3CkUx6 1
ctlp27 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Would not want Ari to win because EP as become toxic enough to kill even the chances of Zoe. You don't want to win for that role (comedic cute) with the feeling of "by default".

fridayteenage Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Chicago is the last bp winner whose director left empty handed
Augmented Posted February 7 Posted February 7 The comedic timing of Ariana & Cynthia delivering a note perfect medley at the Oscars and having to sit back down and watch Emilia Pérez potentially sweep 3
hausofdave Posted February 7 Posted February 7 PGA rarely goes for foreign/ foreign language films (1917 won over Parasite) and they've never chosen a Netflix film (Green Book over Roma, CODA over TPOTD). It'd be a stretch for them to chose Perez even if voting occurred b4 the controversies

Green Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I don't have too much hope for Ariana because they probably copied and pasted the Golden Globe wins 1
Jude Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Oh my god that was very awkward when she mentioned Ariana's relationship with a Munchkin. Fccking kill me now.
hausofdave Posted February 8 Posted February 8 What happened to her arm? Did she take the substance? 1
Green Posted February 8 Posted February 8 She only mentioned Zoe I guess Karla doesn't exist for Emilia Perez 1
