Deactivatedos Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago SAG predictions: Ensemble: Emilia Perez, Conclave, Sing Sing, Wicked, Anora (A Complete Unknown and Saturday Night are my alts, The Piano Lesson is my long shot) Actor: Adrien Brody, Colman Domingo, Timothee Chalamet, Ralph Fiennes, Sebastian Stan (Grant and Craig as alts, but really feel like SAG won't touch Queer) Actress: Demi Moore, Mikey Madison, Karla Sofia Gascon, Cynthia Erivo, Nicole Kidman (Jolie, Adams and Torres are my alts. I actually took Jolie out just now.) Supporting Actor: Kieran Culkin, Guy Pearce, Clarence Maclin, Yura Borisov, Denzel Washington (Norton, Strong, Tucci, Edelshteyn as alts) Supporting Actress: Zoe Saldana, Ariana Grande, Margaret Qualley, Selena Gomez, Danielle Deadwyler (Rossellini, Jones, Ellis-Taylor, Barbaro and Lyonne as alts/longshots) Stunt Ensemble: Dune 2, Gladiator 2, The Fall Guy, Furiosa, Deadpool & Wolverine Going into award season I had no hope for Selena, but if she shows up at SAG and BAFTA then she very well may show up at Oscar. I feel at the end of the day the Oscars will gatekeep her, especially because Grande is getting in. I do hope to see her in more serious films and in awards conversation over the next few years. 2
Mr. Duff Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I know it's a stretch but imagine Selena Gomez getting in over Ariana Grande come nomination night? EP is strong right now Selena will ride its coattails. That would be a huge kiiiii. Ariana > Selena though. 1

I think grande is securely nominated, but if she loses at critic's choice this weekend then my theory that the academy will not award a part 1 performance is correct and she goes down to third or fourth in my ranking. gomez is firmly in sixth place imo. felicity jones is for some reason not happening at the precursors, but she is happening at bafta and oscar. that leaves one slot and its between gomez, deadwyler and qualley. i think qualley gets in, BUT if emilia perez is getting 14 nods at the oscars, gomez rides the coattails. deadwyler truly gives a top 3 supporting performance, but the piano lesson is simply not happening + she was snubbed for Till. As of right now, I think supporting actress at oscars is: Saldana (winning) Grande Rossellini Jones Qualley Edited 15 hours ago by Deactivatedos 2
DanyelP23 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Where the fk are the SAG noms? There's nothing on their site and they said they were gonna do press release / website instead of presenters. 1
McNulty Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago 8 minutes late? they are rigging the noms I feel it 5
DanyelP23 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago 1 minute ago, McNulty said: 8 minutes late? they are rigging the noms I feel it They better rig Mark Eydelshteyn IN and kick out of supporting actor and actress every co-lead performance (minus Qualley and Deadwyler)
Donquizote Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I think they meant tomorrow tomorrow They are rigging SAG nomination to include Gaga

DanyelP23 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago It PISSES me AWF because SAG usually sometimes give the messiest nominations. And they always add a sprinkle of WTF along some BASIC noms but it is FUN 1 1

Tylerbv Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago They better be spending this extra time processing Demi's cheques 1
Hector Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago OMG Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis! Glad I'm seeing the movie finally this weekend then!
Hector Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Also, sad it looks like Clarence Maclin for Sing Sing may not happen after all. 1
McNulty Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago The messy Supporting categories are taking me out Pamela coming back from the dead 3
Hector Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago And it looks like Angelina is done missing both SAG & BAFTA. Nicole Kidman needs BAFTA to survive by this point.
Fading Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Selena got in 2x in the ensemble categories at least... It's a bummer that she missed in the supporting actress category, but I guess the SAGs will suck A Complete Unkown's dick and swallow it Let's hope she gets in the BAFTAs top 5 and the European voters along with some other sympathizers secure her Oscar nomination Edited 14 hours ago by Fading
Donquizote Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Ari has hit everthing so far. AACTA + SAG + Globe + CC
Donquizote Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Happy for Deadwyler. There's passion for her performance and I want her to get in.
Tusk Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago 9 minutes ago, Tylerbv said: They better be spending this extra time processing Demi's cheques Literally adding her at the last minute and voiding Angelina/Nicole in the final slot. 1
DanyelP23 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Pamela in lead is such an obvious nomination, I can't believe I didn't think of it Watch Ms. Jimi Lee getting in at BAFTA too Deadwyler is back from the dead!Critics Choice + SAG is a strong combo. Imagine the GAG if Bafta nominates Denzel when SAG snubbed him. Qualley can still get in, but she's a bit SHAKEY Them saying NO to Sebastian Stan. I have no choice but to STAN SAG is between Cynthia (most likely) and Madison Chalamet might snatch it if he plays his cards right. I don't believe the huge body of SAG will be sitting through 3h35m of The Brutalist as easy as 2h20min of A Complete Unknown 2
