Triton Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Ugh, I needed Saint to slay the Oscar's red carpet, hopefully she'll present
GiselleBeyince Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I feel like stan Twitter and a lot of folks in this thread are gonna be disappointed come the Oscars and SAG. A lot of the winners tonight will disappear. Congrats to Fernanda. One of the few that will continue to give speeches throughout the season. 1
Manchs Posted January 6 Posted January 6 FERNANDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 2
Almodusa Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama: Adrian Brody, The Brutalist
Vermillion Posted January 6 Posted January 6 If you say the Golden Globes goes out of their way now to be contrarian from whatever the trends and betting odds predict from the prior film circles you're called bitter so imma stay quiet.
VelvetCrush Posted January 6 Posted January 6 OMG FERNANDA IM SHAKING IN MY BOOTS ME AND MY MAMA LITERALLY SCREAMED IN OUR LIVING ROOM 3
Cheers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Adrien was predicted so I'm not too shocked but justice for Timothee !!!!
ArtDeco Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Why does Timothee look like that, I bet Kylie made him ditch the twink look 5
Triton Posted January 6 Posted January 6 They're definitely steering away from the big Hollywood name wins, I thought they would give this one to Timmy.

hausofdave Posted January 6 Posted January 6 So the takeaway is never bet on biopics for wins anymore. Biopics just don't win. They'll get the noms, but not the wins.
KylieistBoi Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Demi Moore is easily sweeping the competition if an old woman from Brazil is her only competition Globes fumbled the bag a lot with that horrendous win but I'm glad they made it easier for a Moore sweep. I mean if you are trying to be original at least have a set of balls and go for Pamela Anderson We've seen this foreign actress narrative with much superior Isabelle Huppert and that could only get her to a nomination. Oh well. 11

Kylizzle Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Let's hope Brody uses one of his many speeches this season to apologize to Halle Berry...
fridayteenage Posted January 6 Posted January 6 just remember Brendan Fraser - no globe Curtis - no globe Chastain - no globe kotsur - no globe Youn - no globe NOM Hopkins - no globe McDormand - no globe 3
hausofdave Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Torres winning is similar to Hubbert's for Elle where her win here gets her the final slot at the Oscars. 3
