So The Substance, A Complete Unknown, and Nickel Boys all blanked, Wicked and Sing Sing both got a single acting nom, and Anora, A Real Pain, and Conclave all had notable misses.

The only ones to do particularly well at AACTA today were Brutalist and EP. :lakitu:

Downplay Anora at your own risk

Wow this doesnt look good for pamela Anderson

realistically speaking, she was never gonna make it. as much as we wanted her in. Best Actress is just too stacked this year. to the point that even Nicole Kidman or SAINT might miss. :sosad:

Spain's version of the Oscars. The film picked up 13 nominations though, including for best director and best acting nominations for both leads, Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore. Hugely impressive for both Julianne & Tilda.

Zoe is winning BAFTA

Posted

I just saw that Miley's song didn't make the shortlist  :noparty:

That means Pamela probably has zero chances for the Oscar nomination (it was wishful thinking anyways)

Posted (edited)

Jones misses again, but Qualley is slowly becoming very consistent with nominations.

Kidman is getting the BAFTA nom (Madison, MJB, Kidman, Moore, Ronan and one of Gascon/Erivo/Winslet)

"The Journey" from "The Six Triple Eight"

A Diane Warren song and performed by H.E.R.? She's 100% getting another filler nomination  :dies:

In fact the 2 Emilia Perez songs and the Diane song are the ones that we know for sure will get the nominations

I hope that Robbie Williams can snatch a surprise nomination now that Miley's song didn't make it
