hausofdave Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Brody, Chalamet, Fiennes, and Domingo feel safe. I think the weakness of Sebastian's films + split voting for the two movies leaves him just out. If only something coalesces for him for SAG/BAFTA. I think Hugh Grant - never an AMPAS fave - is a fun shiny thing for the moment, but is low on the A24 priority. The ship has sailed on Mescal, Washington & other fringes. Kupferer would be inspired, but not feeling it at this point. That leaves Craig (never been nommed narrative, good ink) and Eisenberg (in a seemingly popular AMPAS movie). I think it's down to Craig and Eisenberg. The issue I see with Craig is that he will likely be his film's only nom and, may be lower on screener/interest piles + the type of film it is may not jive with 'basics' in the actor branch. Gonna be very close 3
