akoaytao1234 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Picture - Anora Director - Sean Baker Actress - Demi Moore Actor - Adrien Brody Supporting Actress - Isabelle Rosellini+ Supporting Actor - Keiran Culkin Original Screenplay - A Real Pain Adapted Screenplay - Conclave Cinematography - The Brutalist Costume Design - Wicked Film Editing - Conclave Makeup and Hairstyling - The Substance Production Design - Wicked Original Score - The Brutalist Original Song - El Mal Sound - A Complete Unknown Visual Effects - Dune Part 2 Animated Feature - Flow Documentary Feature - NO Other Land International Film - Emilia Perez I only voted for Rossellini as a hope-diction lol, everything is what I feel would win. Personally think, Emilia Perez would pull through with the international side of votes. Anora practically flopping until the important final categories. Demi trumping Mikey, she is solidly leading in the American side tbh. Controversially voting for A Real Pain in writing too. Flow just feels like the winner with the new Animation side of things.
Vin Posted March 2 Posted March 2 6 hours ago, Mr. Loco said: If Margaret Qualley isn't there, the list in invalid, she should've been nominated AND won Margaret Qualley spent 90% of her screen time with her mouth half-opened in "The Substance"—because that's what sexy young women do?—so no, she should have been nominated for NOTHING. She was the weakest part of "The Substance." I would have liked for Qualley's character, Sue, to at least try to mimic Demi Moore's character, Elizabeth, in mannerisms, in voice, in something. But Qualley just made Sue an entirely different character (who likes to have her mouth half-opened), when we were supposed to believe that "they are one." Every time she was on screen, she took me out of the film and I couldn't wait to get back to the TALENT, Demi Moore. Margaret Qualley is lucky she got a Golden Globe nomination, but those can be easily bought, which is why Lady Gaga was nominated and won for her cheesy performance in "American Horror Story" over Kirsten Dunst incredible and critically-acclaimed performance in "Fargo." ...Vin 1 1 1
Pinter Posted March 2 Posted March 2 If the substance using deef fake young demi moore for sue i think the movie will be titled best picture and demi without a doubt would win an oscar. Margareth looks too much different from demi so yes it feels like two completely different genes and dna, they should at least find someone who looks like demi or at least can act and serve demi like voice/ mannerism... 2
Dark Miracles Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I'm going balls to the wall and going with Brutalist for Picture. In this chaotic clusterfuck of a year the traditional Jewish faction of voters will come through for their own I think
Dark Miracles Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) Regarding Rosselini, I'm just appreciating it as a makeup nom after not getting anything for Marcel The Shell (and I'm being so serious about that) Edited March 2 by Dark Miracles
prézli Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I can see Zoe not winning Best Supporting Actress. Which would be a kii since she has won everything, but the scandal might hurt her chance here. 1 1

hausofdave Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Picture: Conclave Director: Baker Actress: Moore Actor: Brody SA: Culkin SA: Saldana Original: Anora Adapted: Conclave Editing: Conclave
McNulty Posted March 2 Posted March 2 All I want is Anora winning Best Picture and Diane Warren losing, I don't care about anything else 1
hausofdave Posted March 2 Posted March 2 The only situation where I see Conclave having a real chance to win is if Anora shows a big weakness tonight and can't pick up a Screenplay win against ARP, which isn't even nominated for Picture. In that case then Anora just isn't playing strongly enough and Conclave could swoop in with a narrow victory. that said ima just NGNG Picture on Conclave 1
WildAmerican Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Editing might tell us early how strong Anora is. If Anora wins, I expect it will take OS, Direc. and BP. If it loses, OS will be more interesting. If it loses OS, it's bad for her.... 1
