hausofdave Posted February 24 Posted February 24 SAG nominations are voted on by a randomly selected committee of 2,500 which is less than 2% of the voting body for the actual SAG award. ofc, the full body could be just as high on Wicked as the nominators were, but that gap between nominators/award voters is too large to predict what they'll gravitate towards imo 2

Ivan_brit Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I really really want Demi to Win, Mickey did fine but It's Demi time to get her Oscar 4

hausofdave Posted February 24 Posted February 24 In case of a split, go with the BAFTA winners it does marginally better, especially this year with voting timelines However Conclave won at both BAFTA and SAG ensemble, it is locked in adapted screenplay and probably winning editing too... it's a coin toss literally 2

Life Savers Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Timmy winning for a such a snoozefest would be . Thankfully Adrien is still favored. BP is interesting. Anora with a bit of an advantage but Conclave has made its case. I liked both movies so cinema wins in the end 1

At least get the facts straight. 2

Achilles. Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Alan Arkin and Anthony Hopkins are the only two people to win the Oscar after winning only BAFTA over someone who won SAG+GG+CC (Eddie Murphy + Chadwick Boseman). Neither works as precedent for Madison. But… Robin Williams, Michael Caine, Halle Berry, Morgan Freeman, and Jaime Lee Curtis are the only people to win the Oscar with just SAG. Williams and Caine won in 4-way split races (for films that both won Oscars for their screenplays), Berry won in a 3-way split race, and Freeman and Curtis coattailed films that swept Picture, Director, and Actress. None work as precedent for Chalamet. Moore and Brody makes the most sense. 3
