Angelina Jolie is the only other contender who seems like she would stood a chance. And one of Pablo Larraín's leading ladies is bound to win eventually. Natalie Portman and Kristen Stewart didn't happen but Angelina Jolie might :michael:

why would larrain be bound to win?

it's not his movies are showered with piles of noms on the regular. 3 for jackie, 1 for Spencer.

he's no Spielberg, who was huge since the 70s but couldn't get an acting win until last decade.

Not Larrain, one of his leading ladies. He provides them with ample material, giving them a lot of opportunities to showcase their talent and the movies are always centered around them.

Well, you don't. And I have no intentions to entertain your nonsense any further.

OT: Can't wait for Gaga's Venice outfit, I wonder if she can top this

They also have Emilia Perez, which would be their main pony since they have UK rights too. This is probably a death sentence for His Three Daughters girlies though

Oh, Glaser for GG? Good, at least she can actually write jokes unlike those two before her :sorry:

So far, Angie is getting great reviews but the film seems to be the weakest of the trilogy. :celestial5:

Not surprised,  though I am getting Renée Zellweger in Judy vibes from the clip that premiered yesterday plus Kristen Stewart was the only nomination for Spencer.

It's 91 on Rotten, mixed reviews are usually follows all Pablo movies. She's gonna be fine as long as she really good in it :gaycat:

Maria getting bad reviews. Win cancelled.

Mikey Madison too young and unknown to win

Saoirse Ronan not the lead in Blitz

Emilia Perez having too many actresses

Amy Adams still cursed

Maybe Gaga CAN do this after all
