Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 2021 Lead Actress BAFTA: McDormand SAG: Viola CC: Mulligan Globe: Day Last time we had split race in Actress category, BAFTA winner in a beloved movie ended up winning. Pundits at that time still predicted Mulligan to win although there were clear signs she was not happening. Torres is this year Mulligan
hausofdave Posted February 16 Posted February 16 since its inception SAG Ensemble has predicted the winner of the Oscar best picture on all but fourteen occasions. Often it is a best picture top contender that wins, but sometimes it is a film like The Help, Black Panther, Hidden Figures or Little Miss Sunshine. 1
fridayteenage Posted February 16 Posted February 16 movies that won Picture, Director, Writing, and Actress, without a lead actor nom eeaao terms of endearment
Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 my prediction at SAG: Anora taking ensemble and Cynthia or Ari taking acting category. Banshee is the only movie that went home empty handed after getting at least 4 nominations at SAG.

It will be the GG Winner (Demi) or the BAFTA Winner (Madison) 2

Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I'm waiting for Tariq to still predict Torres and think that Madison is not a threat to win Oscar despite winning BAFTA

hausofdave Posted February 16 Posted February 16 the last original screenplay winning for a movie not nominated for Best Picture was Eternal Sunshine, tho would've easily made BP with the extended number spots
Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 That was a good speech from Madison. She looks authentic and humble. This is giving Colman's speech that was so humble and authentic after she won BAFTA.

fridayteenage Posted February 16 Posted February 16 i liked that she made sure to shoutout the community near the end. it was kinda funny that she didn't really have anything to say about the 3rd producer for the film besides his name whilst gushing over everyone else. i assume he didn't have much to do during the actual filming. 1
Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Now AMPAS voters who have yet to vote will vote for Madison after that speech.
Donquizote Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Ronan must be pissed that she has yet to win any BAFTA despite being nominated 5x there
