wesleywalrus Posted February 8 Posted February 8 OMG Substance screenplay. ANORA NOTHING FOR YOU. 5 1 1
Achilles. Posted February 8 Posted February 8 OMG. I really didn't see this coming. "Weird" screenplays nearly always need WGA as a launching pad to the Oscars. Let's go all the way!!!
EnigmaticAndroid Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I didn't have the balls to predict it, but after actually seeing Anora, I've felt way less confident in it winning screenplay and that something could come from behind and usurp it. And The Substance felt like the most likely contender. Not to say that Anora can't still win, but this is a big blow. 1

KasioKas Posted February 8 Posted February 8 As someone who absolutely loved conclave, quite pleased to see it getting its flowers tonight. Should be a stronger oscar contender.

Isabella is top 2 at BAFTA. She's not beating Saldana there or at the Oscars, but she's not going to be without votes. 1
